Punjab Judiciary Cut off 2022: Know It All

Every year, the Punjab Public Service Commission conducts the Punjab Civil Service (PCS) examination to recruit young, talented, and dedicated candidates for the post of Civil Judge in the Punjab High court. 

All those who score more than or equal to the cutoff marks will be eligible for a further selection round. The minimum marks to be obtained will be confirmed by the authorities for the recruitment.

The cut off for the Punjab Civil Judge Examination will be out after conducting the prelims examination in December 2022 and the mains examination in February 2023.

Candidates will have the option to get every round’s cut off of the Punjab civil judge 2022 after the completion of each round.

The Punjab Judiciary examination application form will be out on 10th October 2022, on the official website of the PPSC, i.e., www.ppsc.gov.in.

The last date to submit the Punjab judiciary application form 2022 will be till 17th October 2022.

The cut off of the Punjab judiciary 2022 will be available after each round, and the final round cut off will be released later after conducting the personal interview round.

Note: The candidates will be immediately disqualified if there is any difference in the application submitted by the candidates or in other documents which the candidates submit.

Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) considers the following factors while preparing for the cut off of the Punjab Civil Judge Exam:

⇒ Previous year’s cutoff trends.

⇒ Highest score in the recruitment examination.

⇒ The difficulty level of the examination.

⇒ Number of candidates appearing for the examination.

⇒ The total number of vacancies 

Punjab Civil Judge Cut off 2022 – Expected Prelims Cut off

The category-wise Punjab judiciary Cut off of the Preliminary examination is determined out of 200 marks.

The cut off of the preliminary examination is determined by the estimation ability to select the candidate for the mains examination. 

The Punjab Civil Judge cut off of the preliminary examination isn't considered for the final selection.

The candidates must score the qualifying marks and qualify for the cut off for all three stages.

Punjab Civil Judge Cut off 2022 – Expected Mains Cut off

The Punjab Judiciary Main Examination comprises five mandatory papers. 

These papers consist of both objective and subjective type question exams. These five papers are as follows:

Paper 1 (The present-day) - This paper includes topics like Jurisprudence, International law, Neutrality, Recent legislation, Indian constitutional law, developments, etc. this paper consists of 150 marks.

Paper 2 (Language) - This paper includes topics like Translation from English to Hindi or Hindi to English and English precis writing. This paper consists of 100 marks.

Paper 3 (Substantive Law) - This paper includes questions on topics like the Law of contracts, the Law of partnership, the Law relating to the transfer of property including the principle of equity, the Law concerning casements and torts, the Law of trust, and Hindu law. This paper consists of 200 marks.

Paper 4 (Evidence and Procedure) - This paper includes questions on topics like the Law of evidence, The criminal procedure code, The civil procedure code, etc. this paper consists of 200 marks.

Paper 5 (Revenue and Criminal) - This paper includes questions on topics like Zamindari abolition and land reforms act applicable in Uttarakhand, and Indian Penal code, etc. this paper consists of 200 marks.

Practical examination (Computer Knowledge) - This practical examination consists of 100 marks of various questions from topics like Windows and the Internet, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Access. 

Note: The total score of the candidate in the Mains examination of the Punjab civil service examination will be considered for the last and the final stage of the interview round or not.
