The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has opened its doors for late registrations for the 2024 academic session. The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for the administration of the NIFT entrance test, announced that the late registration process commenced on January 4, 2024, offering another chance for aspirants who missed the initial deadline.

  • Initial Registration: Started on December 5, 2023, and ended on January 3, 2024. 
  • Late Registration: From January 4 to January 8, 2024, with an additional late fee of Rs 5000. 
  • Application Correction Window: Open from January 10 to January 12, 2024, allowing candidates to rectify errors in their submitted forms. 

Note: The regular registration process for NIFT 2024 exam began on December 5, 2023, and concluded on January 3, 2024. 

How to apply for NIFT registration with late fees? 

Step-by-Step NIFT Application Process:

  • Visit the NIFT Website: Log on to nift.ac.in. 
  • Access the Registration Link: Find and click on the 'NIFT 2024 registration open' link on the homepage. 
  • Fill the Application Form: Complete the application with accurate details. 
  • Document Submission: Upload necessary documents like photographs and signatures. 
  • Fee Payment: Pay the applicable fee as per your category. 
  • Final Submission: Submit the application and take a printout for future reference. 

Application Fee Structure 

  • General/OBC(NCL)/EWS: Rs 3,000 (Rs 4,500 for two programs). 
  • SC/ST/PwD: Rs 1,500 (Rs 2,250 for two programs).

Eligibility Details 

  • For Bachelor’s Programs: Maximum age limit is less than 24 years as of August 1 of the admission year, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PWD categories. 
  • For Master’s and PhD Programs: No age limit.
