The National Testing Agency will start the second session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 exam tomorrow, April 4, 2024. This session includes the B.Arch. and B.Plan as paper 2. The JEE Paper 2 B.Arch. 2024 exam date for this session is April 12.

JEE Main Session 2: Exam Details

JEE Main Paper 2 in the 2nd session will be conducted across India at different exam centers. It is also going to be conducted outside India at 22 exam centers.

The details for JEE B.Arch. 2024 Session 2 are as follows:

Mandatory things to carry for JEE MAIN B.Arch. 2024 Exam

Here’s the checklist of all the necessary things to carry in the exam hall:

1.JEE Main session 2 Admit card for B.Arch. exam: It is mandatory to carry a clear printed copy (A4 size paper) of the JEE Main Paper 2 Admit Card and Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website.

2.Valid Photo ID: For JEE B.Arch. 2024 session 2, you must carry an original & authorized photo Identification proof like:

• PAN card
• Driving license
• Voter ID or Passport
• Aadhaar card with a photo
• School Identity Card
• E-Aadhaar with photograph
• Ration Card with photograph
• Class 12th Board Admit Card with photograph
• Bank Passbook with Photograph

3.Passport-sized photograph: Carry one passport size photograph to paste on the attendance sheet at the JEE Main Exam Centre.

4.Ballpoint pen: Only a simple transparent Ball Point Pen is allowed.

5.PwD Certificate (if applicable): Carry your PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if you are claiming relaxation in JEE B.Arch. 2024 session 2 under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category.

JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Day Guidelines 2024

There are a few exam day guidelines for JEE B.Arch. 2024 session 2 that you must follow:

• Reach the exam center 2 hours before the commencement of the exam.
• You won’t be allowed to enter the exam center once the gate closes.
• Avoid wearing clothes with many pockets.
• Carry only a transparent water bottle.
• You won’t be allowed to take the examination without valid Admit Cards and photo IDs.
• You must sit for the exam in your allocated seat with your roll number only.
• Ensure that the JEE Main Question Paper on your computer is as per your opted subject in the Admit Card.

Restricted things during the JEE B.Arch. 2024 Session 2

The list of items that are prohibited during the exam are:

• Instruments
• Geometry or pencil box
• Handbags & Purse
• Any printed or written paper/ stationery or textual material
• Any eatables (In case you have diabetes, you can carry Sugar tablets/fruits like banana/apple/orange
• Any electronics like mobile phones, earphones, microphones, pager, calculator, digital watches, tape recorder, log tables, slide rules
• Any metallic item or suspicious items
