The prelims exam holds a weightage of 500 marks. According to the Haryana Judiciary Exam Pattern 2023 paper, the preliminary examination shall be of objective type with multiple-choice questions.

The question paper includes five sections: English, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, Aptitude, and General Knowledge, including Current Events.

  • The prelims question paper consists of 125 questions, and each question carries four marks.
  • The standard of the question papers shall be of the Law graduate level.
  • The time duration of the exam is 2 hours.
  • You must secure a minimum of 150 marks in the prelims exam to get selected for the Mains exam.

As per the Haryana Judiciary prelims pattern, the commission will not consider the marks obtained in the prelims exam for preparing the final merit list.
