Summary: GGSIPU has adopted CUET 2024 as its UG admission process from this academic year. If you are looking forward to studying at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, ensure you clear CUET with qualifying marks. 

Earlier, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducted the GGSIPU CET Entrance Exam annually to provide admission to various undergraduate programs, which ends this year! As the college has decided to participate in the CUET exam from the previous year.

So if you wish to apply for any UG program at GGSIPU, ensure you fill out the CUET application form on the official website as per the schedule.

This year, CUET-participating universities have increased from 90 to 109. 

Both Indians and Foreign nationals can apply for the CUET entrance exam, as there is no kind of restrictions on the applicant’s nationality.

CUET Eligibility 2024

The eligibility criteria for CUET will be prescribed by the exam conducting body - NTA. The parameters for eligibility criteria are explained below:

  • For appearing in the CUET (UG) - 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates. 
  • The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024, irrespective of their age, can appear in CUET (UG) - 2024 examination. 

Subject-wise eligibility is as follows:

BCA Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* with a pass in English (core, elective, or functional). Mathematics / Computer Science / or any other subject related to Computer Science.
B.Tech (BT) Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study
B.Sc. (Y) Pass in the 12th class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or Equivalent in any Science Stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in any four subjects, including English (core/elective/functional), provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separately.
BPT Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject of study in the qualifying examination.
BOT Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject of study in the qualifying examination.
BPO Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject of study in the qualifying examination.
B.SC. (MLT) Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject of study in the qualifying examination.
BASLP Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject of study in the qualifying examination.
B.Sc. (MIT) Candidates who have passed 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the case of general students and 45 % marks in the case of candidates from SC/ST categories.
B.Sc. (MTR) Pass in the 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate must also pass in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject of studies in the qualifying examination.
OR
Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology after passing in 12th class of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately, having a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Radiotherapy.
B PHARMA Candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
B A (ENG) HONS Candidates with an aggregate* of 50% marks in 10 + 2 level examination from a recognized State and Central Government Board (for example, C.B.S.E) with compulsory English at 10+2 level.
B A (ECO) HONS Candidates with an aggregate* of 50% marks in the 10+2 level examination compulsory study at the 10+2 level from a recognized State and Central Government Board with Mathematics and English compulsory subjects at the 10+2 level.
BBA & Allied Programmes Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
BHMCT Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
B.COM.(HONS) 50% in aggregate in 10+2 examination / Senior School Certificate Examination of C.B.S.E. as minimum marks for admission to B.Com with a pass in five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent to that. (i) Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian school/college. OR
Intermediate Examination of an Indian University / Board or an Examination recognized as equivalent to that (Pass in five written subjects) (ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Pass in five written subjects). (iii) Examination of a foreign University / Board which is recognized as equivalent to 10+2 CBSE examination/or Indian University.
BJMC Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

GGSIPU CUET Application Process 2024

You can follow the instructions given while filling out the CUET Application Form.

The initial step is GGSIPU CUET registration. The online window to register for the exam will open after clicking the "click here to apply" button on the official website.

  • Once you click the "register" button, the commonly asked registration fields such as name, mobile number, E-mail ID, and date of birth shall appear on the screen.
  • Upon successful registration, you will receive a system-generated application number.
  • Now, re-login to the website using login credentials and fill in all mandatory fields like qualification details, communication details, date of birth, category, etc.
  • The next step is to upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents as per the specifications given in the official notification.
  • Then, select any three universities you wish to secure admission to and any three courses in each. " Make sure you select the right domain subjects" to avoid your candidature being cancelled. 
  • Once selected, click the "save & proceed" button and preview the online form.
  • Finally, click the "make payment" button and pay the application fee per your category.
