Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2023 for admission of eligible candidates in IP university affiliated colleges. IPU CET BBA exam is a national level test conducted for the admission of 10 + 2 eligible candidates to the BBA and allied program. GGSIPU, the conducting body shall release the IPU CET BBA 2023 Online Application Form tentatively from the first week of May 2023, on its official website. The submission of the application for the recruitment will be subject to various Eligibility Criteria laid out by the authority, depending upon the level of the exam.

The IPU CET BBA 2023 Exam Dates are announced by the official authority. Below mentioned are the dates of some of the important events related to the CET Exam:-

IPU CET BBA Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates who meet the IPU CET BBA eligibility criteria can apply for the entrance exam. The exam conducting authority, GGSIPU, prescribes IPU CET eligibility criteria. Candidates can check the eligibility as per, Educational Qualifications, Age Limit and, Minimum Qualifications, etc, given below


  • In order to qualify for the IPU CET Common Entrance Test, the applicant should be a resident of India.
  • For admission of students who are not citizens of India, the Office of International Affairs, of the University, shall issue a separate Admission Brochure.
  • Those who are in the category of International candidates (NRI), will also have to submit relevant documents related to their nationality.

Age Limit

Candidates must fulfill the Age Limit criteria set out by conducting body to be eligible for the IPU CET BBA 2023:

  • Candidates should be below 21 years of age as of 1st August 2023.
  • There is no lower age limit to apply for the IPU CET BBA examination 2023.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate should have passed Intermediate(10+2) from CBSE or any other recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent and English as one of the core subjects. 
  • The aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class for the purpose of eligibility will be taken as the aggregate of the best four subjects including English and compulsory subject(s) if any.
  • These compulsory subjects will vary for various programs. The details of compulsory subject(s) (if changed) whatever applicable will be notified on the university website before the start of the counseling.
  • Those who are completing their higher education this year are also eligible to apply for GGSIPU CET BBA 2023. However, they have to submit their documents at the time of counseling and admission.

Documents Required to Apply for IPU CET BBA 2023 Application form

Candidates need to have the below-mentioned documents in hand before filling the application form in place.


It is mandatory to upload Class X or DOB certificates for age verification. Applicants need to upload a scanned copy of it in a pdf format.

  • The size should be between 50 kb to 100 kb.
  • The scanned document should be clear and visible

Applicant's Photograph

  • The photograph must be a recent passport size color picture.
  • The size of the photo should be between 10 kb and 100 kb
  • Applicants must ensure that the picture is in color taken against a light-colored, ideally white background.
  • Caps, hats, and dark glasses in the image are not acceptable
  • The applicant in the photo should be in front of the camera.
  • The photo needs to be in JPEG format. Otherwise, the form would be refused by the officials

Scanned Copy of Signature

Candidates must upload a scanned copy of their signature. The same signature as that on the official documents, such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc. The applicant would be disqualified if the signature on the call letter signed at the time of the test, does not match the signature on the application form.

  • The scanned photo of the signature should be about 10kb-20kb
  • The signature should be in a running hand, not in block letters.
  • It should also be on white paper with black or blue ink.
  • The scanned image should be clear and visible

Caste Certificate

Those who belong to the reserved categories should apply with their official caste certificates. They'll require a necessary caste certificate for verification purposes. 

  • Age-relaxation is valid for reserved categories
  • There is indeed a specific number of vacancies reserved for categories other than General vacancies

Thumb Impression

  • Applicants must submit a scanned copy of their Left Thumb Impression
  • The scanned picture of the thumb should be about 10kb-20kb.

How to fill the IPU CET BBA Application Form 2023?

The applicant must fill out their application form for the IPU CET BBA 2023 exam online on the official website. Applicants can follow the steps set out below to complete the application form.

Step 1: Fresh Registration for new Candidates

  • Visit the official website of the GGSIPU.
  • On the Homepage click on the “CET APPLY ONLINE TAB”, a new login page will appear on the screen. 
  • Click on the “New Candidate Registration” tab present on the bottom of the screen and then press “I agree” on the consent form that appears after that.
  • Details that candidates need to provide to create their Name, mobile number, Email ID, user ID and password and then click on the Submit button.
  • Remember the password filled here for creating Log In. 
  • Press the “Submit” button. the details provided by the applicant in their login ID cannot be modified at a later stage. Thus, they need to fill in this information very carefully.
  • Upon successful registration, the applicant’s login credentials will be sent via email to the registered email address. Applicants should save this email for future reference.

Note: Kindly note that the Email-ID and Date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.

Step 2: Essential documents to be made ready

Keep the following details/documents/information ready with you before you start filling out your online application.

  • Personal details 
  • Educational qualification details 
  • Image of scanned photograph in jpg/jpeg format and size should be between 20-50 KB 
  • Image of scanned signature in jpg/jpeg format and size should be between 10-20 KB.

Step 3: Fill the IPU CET BBA 2023 Application Form

  • Login using your Login ID and Password sent to the candidate via email by clicking on the Login tab to Complete the Process.
  • Enter the verification code as shown and press the Submit button.
  • Please fill in the details on the online application form. Because your eligibility will be determined on the basis of the information you submit, you are expected to exercise adequate caution and provide the specifics of your qualifications, etc. correctly.
  • Enter other related data such as examination center choice, parent details, gender, nationality, academic details, address, and contact information.
  • Please save the details as you fill out the online application form by clicking the SAVE" button.
  • If you want to change some of the data, you can do so by logging in again using the Email ID and the Date Of birth. After editing the details, make sure you save the details by clicking the Save" button.

Step 4: Uploading documents

  • Click on the link to ‘Upload Documents/Images’
  • Browse to the location where the scanned photo was saved, pick the Photograph, and press the Upload button. 
  • Follow the same steps to upload the photograph, and other supporting documents, and then press the Next button.

Step 5: Pay IPU CET BBA 2023 Application Fee 

Before sending the Online form, applicants are advised to preview the application form by pressing the "Back" button as there is no correction window. Applicants may pay their application fee for the IPU CET BBA entrance test online via Debit Card or Netbanking. Keep your Debit Card/Internet Banking information handy.

  • Candidates are required to read the undertaking and accept the same.
  • In case you wish to edit any information relating to Personal Details, Qualification Details, and/or Experience Details; you can do so by logging in again using Email-ID, Birth Date, Password, and after editing the information, make sure to save the information again by pressing the Save" button.
  • Tap on the "Make Payment" tab, you will be redirected to the bank's website where you have to make payment using any of the following options listed above.
  • Application fees will depend on the category of the candidate.
  • Now enter your Net Banking Account or Debit Card information to continue with the transfer. When your payment has been authenticated, the system will lead you to the final application form.
  • You'll get a self-generated Web Application No. after you've successfully completed your payment. After a successful transaction, the candidate will receive a preview of the application with the application number.
  • Applicants are advised to receive a printout of the complete application for approval. The applicant should carefully preserve its application number for the production of call letters and all other information for further processes.

IPU CET BBA Application Form 2023 Correction

Candidates must remember that the IPU CET BBA 2023 Apply Online form cannot be modified once it has been submitted. The choice to change the application form is only accessible before the "Final Submit" button.

DOB Enter the date, month, and year of your birth as per the English calendar and as recorded in your School / Board (Class – X) / Pre-University examination certificate. The birth field is mandatory. 
Enter Mobile number Provide an active contact number for receiving further important information regarding the examination.

Education qualification Select the option titled “PASSED” if you have already passed 10+2 or any other specified qualifying examination, which makes you eligible for the Entrance Test. Select the option titled “APPEARING” if you are appearing for the examination, which makes you eligible. The title “APPEARING” covers the cases of “APPEARED” candidates also. 
Correspondence address Write your name and complete mailing address IN CAPITAL LETTERS including the PIN CODE. Candidates are required to enter correct Mobile numbers with relevant STD codes and email addresses at which the SMS/communication is to be sent. 
Category Select the appropriate option for your categories – SC, ST, OBC, UR, EWS, Physically Handicapped / Persons with disability, Defence and J & K Migrant. If no category is specified, you would be considered as falling under the „General‟ category. And, no claim whatsoever shall be entertained thereafter. Category certificate to be verified during admission/ Counseling. If a candidate falls in more than two categories, he/she can select multiple options. If a general category candidate fills up a reserved category, then the candidature for admission to be considered if and only if the rank is within the general cut-off rank.
Region Select the option titled “Delhi Region” if you have passed your qualifying examination from any school/college located in Delhi or from any institution affiliated to GGSIP University. Select the option titled “Outside Delhi” if you have passed your qualifying examination from any school/college located in any other part of the country (India) excluding the institutions affiliated to GGSIP University. Incorrectness in Region may lead to cancellation of admission on verification of documents.
Religion Select the appropriate option. Minority certificates will be verified at the time of admissions for consideration of admissions in minority institutions.
Nationality If your nationality is Indian, the option indicated for “INDIAN”. If your nationality is not Indian; the option indicated for “OTHERS”
Visible Mark of Identification Candidates should mention visible marks of identification. 
Photograph of the Candidate The candidate should upload his / her recent color photograph with white background of size as specified. Your face should cover about 75% of the photograph (without attestation)taken on or after 01st January of the admission year. The candidate should also upload his / her scanned signature and scanned left thumb impression.

IPU CET BBA 2023 Application Form Fee 

All the candidates shall submit application forms only through online mode for all the courses where admission will be granted based on CET conducted by the University.

  • The application form fee is ₹ 1200 excluding processing charges and taxes.
  • The last date of submission of the Application Form shall be the first week of May 2023. 
  • The Application fee, the processing charges, and taxes shall not be refundable under any circumstances. 

Important Guidelines for IPU CET BBA 2023 Apply Online 

Applicants need to abide by certain instructions when filling out the form so that their candidature would not be rejected.

  • Applicants must ensure that all details are properly filled out, as no improvements or revisions are permitted after the final submission of the application form.
  • Applicants must ensure that they meet the required Eligibility Requirements before completing the application form.
  • Application Fee can only be charged via the online mode.
  • Ensure that the documents uploaded, such as the photograph, the signature, the left thumbprint, and the handwritten declaration, as defined by the CET.
  • If an applicant is found not to meet the eligibility requirements or is unable to produce the necessary documentation, his application will be canceled.
  • The candidate should keep two identical photographs with him/her used in the application form, in reserve which may have to be used for pasting in the Admit Card at the time of Entrance Test / Counseling / Admission, in case of doubt regarding the identity. 
  • CET reserves the right to delegate the applicant to any of the Centers other than the one selected by the candidate.
  • Any request for a change in the date, time, and place of the Online Test or Interview would not be entertained by the Examination Body.

IPU CET BBA Exam Centre

Examination Centre once allotted by the University will not be changed and no request in this regard will be entertained under any circumstances. In case the first and second options for the center are not invoked or due to any other reason, then the candidate will be allocated Delhi Centre.
