Mizoram University was created by an Act of Parliament (No. 8 of 2000), and it became functional on 2nd July 2001. The University has 33 functional academic departments offering UG, PG, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs under 8 Schools of Study. The University has 35 affiliated colleges and one constituent college.

Different programs have different eligibility criteria. Hence, it is crucial to be well informed before applying to Mizoram University through CUET.

Appearing for the NTA CUET Exam 2022 is the only channel for getting admission to Mizoram University.

BACHELOR OF ARTS ENGLISH Passed the HSSLC/10+2 examination or its equivalent, with 50% marks for general/OBC category, and 45% marks for SC/ST/Differently-abled category, with English as one of the subjects.
