Admission to various undergraduate programs at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will be made through the Common Universities entrance Test (CUET) from the academic year 2022–23.

As per the latest announcement, JNU admissions through NTA CUET Exam 2022 will make selection easy even in terms of opportunity and demography.

To be eligible for the admission process at Jawaharlal Nehru University, you must satisfy the following three parameters:

  • Age Limit
  • Educational Qualification
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks

You are not eligible for the admission process at BHU if you do not satisfy any of the criteria mentioned above.

CUET JNU Eligibility Criteria 2022 for B.A. Hons (Persian, Pashto, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, French, German, Russian, Spanish)

Age Limit

There is no upper age limit to apply for the B.A. (Hons.) program at the Jawaharlal Nehru University.

However, your minimum age should be 17 years as of 1st October 2022 to be eligible for admission.

Educational Qualification

You must have completed your class12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board/ university. Those who are appearing for class 12 exams in 2022 can also apply for the NTA CUET exam. (or)

You must have obtained a Certificate of Alimiah issued by any of the following Madrasas subject to the condition that you have passed the English language at the level of Senior Secondary from a recognized Board/University or a three-year course conducted by Darul-Uloom Deoband.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

According to the CUET 2022 JNU Eligibility Criteria, you will require at least a minimum of 45% marks in class 12 or an equivalent exam.

Note:

  • Those who have already pursued a BA/MA, language program in two or more Centres of the School during the entire academic career are not eligible for admission at JNU.
  • 80% of the seats in the first year of the 3-year B.A.(Hons.) program are reserved for those who have either passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in the year 2021 or appearing in 2022, and the remaining 20% are open to all other aspirants.
  • If you have obtained a Higher Secondary Certificate under the 10+1 pattern of education, you will be eligible for admission to the First-Year of the three-year B.A. program.

CUET JNU Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc-M.Sc. Integrated Program in Ayurveda Biology

If you are seeking admission to B.Sc- M.Sc. Integrated Program in Ayurveda Biology at JNU through the NTA CUET exam, you should satisfy the following criteria in terms of qualification and minimum qualifying marks.

Educational Qualification

You must have passed class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • If you belong to the general category, you must have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent exams.
  • Aspirants belonging to the OBC category (non-creamy layer) will be given a 10% relaxation in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination in relation to the open category.
  • If are from SC/ST and Person with Disability (PWD) category and passed the qualifying examination, you can apply for the exam irrespective of your percentage of marks.

You should satisfy the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for the COP program at Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Educational Qualification

You should have completed senior secondary school (10+2) or an equivalent exam from a recognized university or board.

If you have obtained a Higher Secondary Certificate under the 10+1 pattern of education, you can also apply for admission to the COP programs if you have successfully completed the first year of the Bachelor's degree examination at a University under the 10+1+3 pattern of education.
