The National Law University of Delhi will release the AILET Result tentatively in the fourth week of May 2021. The result for AILET 2021 will be released separately for LLB and LLM courses. Read through the article to know each detail about the result event.
AILET is the All India Law Entrance Test conducted by NLU Delhi every year to provide admissions for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programs.
- The AILET Result will be declared online mode on the official website.
- The results will be released category-wise i.e., General/SC/ST/PwD/Kashmiri Migrants.
- The PDF will also include your All India rank and subject-wise marks.
- If you qualified the exam, then make sure to preserve the result PDF until admission as it will be asked during AILET Counselling.
How to Check AILET Result PDF?
- Go to the NLU Delhi result portal
- A log-in window will open
- Select the course applied for admission
- Enter name, roll number, the application number, and date of birth
- On successful log-in, the result of AILET 2021 would be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of the result
AILET Result Dates 2021
As per the AILET Exam Dates, the result will be released after a month of the exam. This year also, the result is expected to be out in June 2021.

AILET Merit List 2021
Based on the performance in AILET Exam, the merit list will be released on the official website. The merit list is also released in PDF format which includes the name and roll number of qualifiers.
Considering the number of seats and AILET Cut Off, the rank list will be released by the exam conducting authorities. Based on the ranks secured, the seats will be allotted to the qualifiers. Along with the result, the merit list will also be released which is an important document.
AILET Tie Breaking Rule 2021
If in case two or more students have scored the same marks, the merit rank will be decided by following a rule:
- on the basis of 10+2 or equivalent marks
- on the basis of 10th class marks
- older in age will be given preference over the younger ones.
What after the AILET Result Declaration?
After the declaration of the AILET 2021 Result, NLU Delhi shall release the merit list for BA LLB and LLM programs. This list shall include shortlisted candidates for counselling process.
For counselling process, you need to register yourself by submitting the concerned documents and details. Your candidature will be verified and the admission process will be completed. The admission process will be conducted in multiple rounds.
