According to the AILET Eligibility Criteria, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent to fill the online application form.

  • The application process involves five steps: online registration, selecting a law course, filling up the details, uploading documents, and paying the application fee.
  • The application fee is Rs. 3050 for the general category, Rs. 1050 for SC/ST category, Rs. 1050 for Persons with Disability, and there is no exam fee for SC/ST Below Poverty Line category.

How to Fill AILET Application Form 2021?

You are suggested to follow the steps mentioned below while filling the online form to avoid any type of mistakes.

Step 1- Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of National Law University, Delhi, i.e. nludelhi.ac.in.
  • Click on "Register to Apply Now" where you need to create a login id by providing the necessary details like name, contact number, email id, date of birth, parents name, and residential address.
  • Click on confirm Registration and re-login to the website to proceed with the next stage of the application process.

Step 2- Select the Law Course

  • After login, you will see the "Application Locker" on the first page
  • Here, you must select the course you want to apply for as there are different courses for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. levels.
  • Click on "National Law University" from the list of colleges
  • Choose your application form and click on the "Apply" button.

Step 3- Filing the AILET Application Form 

The detailed AILET Application Form needs to be filled by you to take the registration format a step further. It requires various information which is given below in a tabulated format.

Nationality Write the information in the given space
Category Need to select the category of reservation
Exam Centre Mention from the list, the preferred exam center from available cities. 
Communication Address Have to give the details of the permanent address for communication purposes.
Details of Education Fill in all educational details like School/College, CGPA/Percentage, Year of Passing, Board/University, Stream in 12th standard.
Details of Parents/Guardians Have to give the details like name, occupation, contact number, email id, income, etc. 

Step 4- Upload Documents

The next step is to scan the photograph and signature of the candidates and upload the pictures as per the designated guidelines. The brief specification details are given in the following table.

Step 5- Application Fee Payment

To complete the application process, you have to make the payment. In the Application Locker, under the Pending Applications area, choose your forms for which you wish to make payment and Click on the Make Payment button.

The application fee can be remitted through online mode. you need to pay the requisite amount, and failing to pay the amount will make you ineligible to sit for the exam. The category wise application fee details are provided below:

How to Withdraw AILET 2021 Application Form?

In case if you wish to withdraw your AILET Application Form for certain reasons, you can follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Visit the official website of NLU Delhi
  • Login to the portal using the login credentials.
  • Click on the option withdraw form
  • Enter the required details like course, category, mobile number, name, the registration fee paid, the application number, bank details
  • Click on the submit button.
  • Now the application will be withdrawn.

How to pay the AILET Application Fee in offline mode?

The AILET Application fees can be paid both online and offline mode.In offline mode, by opting for the Cash Deposit at Post. Aspirants have to select the nearest post office branch and city, and a challan will be generated. After 48 hours, a challan will be generated, and candidates are supposed to submit their fees at the nearest branch. The post office will keep a part of the deposit slip for records, and a part will be given to the candidates. After the payment of the application fees, the fee submission will be updated within 72 hours. 

When will the AILET 2021 application form available?

As per the latest notice released by the NLU, Delhi, the AILET Application Form will be released in the first week of January 2021.
