Before proceeding for the AILET Application process, candidates require some essential documents:

How to Fill AILET Application Form 2020?

The AILET 2020 Application Process includes five stages which are explained below. Candidates are suggested to follow the steps carefully in order to fill the form correctly without any mistakes.

Step I- Online Registration

To complete the registration process, candidates have to visit the official website of National Law University, Delhi, i.e. nludelhi.ac.in. The registration will be done, once the candidates create a login id and provide the necessary details like name, contact number, email id, date of birth, parents name and residential address. After submitting these required criteria, candidates have to confirm the registration, which is necessary to proceed to the next step that is Application Locker. 

Step II- Select the Law Course

It is imperative for the aspirants to select the course they want to apply as there are different courses for undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. levels. A drop-down menu comes with varying level courses that incorporate BA LLB (Hons), LLM and Ph.D. After making a selection of the desired course, a candidate can move to the next step of filling out the application form. 

Step III- Filing the detail AILET Application Form 

The detail AILET Application Form needs to be filled by the candidates to take the registration format a step further. It requires various information which is given below in a tabulated format.

Step IV- Upload the Scanned Copies of Picture

The next step is to scan the photograph and signature of the candidates and upload the pictures as per the designated guidelines. The brief specification details are given in the following table.

Step V- Application Fee Payment of AILET 

To end the completion of the AILET Application Form, the candidates have to submit the application fees. The Application Fees can be submitted in two ways, either offline or online. 

Online Mode: There are two ways of online payment method given below:

Debit/Credit Card Details The candidates have to provide details like Card Number, CVV Number, Expiry Date, and OTP Pin.
Net Banking The candidates will be redirected to the bank’s payment site, and after giving the essential details the payment will be confirmed. 

In both the online payment method, after the payment has been done, the candidates will receive a payment acknowledgment slip on their registered email id. Candidates have to further take a print out of this acknowledgment slip and keep it with them. 

Offline Mode: The AILET Application fees can be paid offline also by opting for the Cash Deposit at Post. Aspirants have to select the nearest post office branch and city, and a challan will be generated. After 48 hours, a challan will be generated, and candidates are supposed to submit their fees at the nearest branch. The post office will keep a part of the deposit slip for records, and a part will be given to the candidates. After the payment of the application fees, the fee submission will be updated within 72 hours.

AILET Application Form Important Instructions

  • The AILET Application Form has to be filled in an online format. There are no provisions to fill the form offline, and only online forms will be considered valid. 
  • Candidates have to obtain a registration id, by generating registration id and password to fill the application form. 
  • Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria set by NLU, Delhi, or else the candidature of the applicant will be canceled. 
  • As per the applicant category, the application form will be accepted only after the payment has been successful. 
  • Before the final submission, the candidates are requested to check all the filled details of the application form.
  • Candidates must fill and submit the AILET Application Form before the last date to avoid end minute hassles. 

The candidates willing to appear for the AILET examinations must enter all the details correctly, and true to their knowledge as any mistakes on their part cannot be edited or rectified later.
