Summary: CUET is a national-level entrance exam for undergraduate admissions in central universities and deemed universities in India. It will be conducted in three phases in May 2023. The CUET 2023 score will be used for admission to undergraduate courses in central universities, deemed universities, and other participating universities. 

The Central University Entrance Test (CUET), a computer-based test (CBT) is a national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It serves as a gateway for admission to undergraduate courses offered by various participating institutions across India. Key Pointers About Phase 1 of CUET 

  • Phase 1 of CUET 2023 was conducted from May 21 to May 24, 2023. 
  • The exam was conducted in three shifts: morning, afternoon, and evening. 
  • The exam will be held in 411 Cities including 24 cities outside India. 
  • Candidates can choose to appear for the exam in any of these languages- Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. 
  • The exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode.

The test duration for subjects such as Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, as well as the General Test, will be 60 minutes. On the other hand, for all remaining subjects, the test duration will be 45 minutes.

  • Focus on revision: Take a few minutes to review your notes and study materials. This will help you to refresh your memory and to make sure that you are familiar with the material.
