Common Mistakes Students Make While Using IPMAT Indore 2024 PYQs

Solving a past paper the wrong way wastes your best practice material. These are the errors we see most often among IPMAT aspirants.

Treating it as open-book. Peeking at solutions mid-attempt gives a false score and zero diagnostic value.

Ignoring the clock. This is a time-pressure exam; a paper solved leisurely tells you nothing about real performance.

Skipping the SA strategy. With no negative marking, leaving Short Answer questions blank out of habit costs easy marks.

Not logging error types. Track whether mistakes come from concept gaps, silly errors, or time pressure — each needs a different fix.

Attempting only once. Re-attempt after two weeks to confirm your weak areas actually improved.
