NTA CUET stands for Common Universities Entrance Test, introduced as a single aptitude test to get admission to several top universities like Manipur University.

Manipur University was established on 5th June 1980 under the Manipur University Act. 1980. Currently, the University has 116 affiliated colleges, including 2 medical colleges. 

Manipur University invites Applications for admission into the following Under Graduate (UG) programmes of the University for the academic session 2024-25 through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG)-2024.

The following UG programmes may be treated as Integrated Masters Degree (IMD) programmes:

• B.A. in Music
• B.A. in Dance
• BA Korean Language
• B.Voc. in Food Processing and Quality Management
• B.Voc. in Retail Management and Foreign Trade
• B.Voc. in Tourism and Hospitality Management

It is important to note that, unlike other universities under CUET, Manipur University accepts applications if you appear in class 12th.

CUET Manipur University Eligibility Criteria 2024 for UG Program

The CUET eligibility criteria vary for each program provided at Manipur University. Hence, knowing the required standards for the particular course you are applying for at the university is essential.

3	B.Voc. in Food Processing and Quality Management	You must have passed 10+2 level examination in any stream or equivalent examination recognized by the Manipur University
4	BA Korean Language	You must have cleared 12th (10+2) class examination with 45% marks from any recognized board
5	B.A. in Dance	You must have passed/cleared 10+2 examination or Senior School Certificate examination from a recognized Board/Council/University in any stream (Science/Humanities/Commerce) or equivalent examination should have acquired the basic knowledge of Dance / Sankritana/Martial Arts (Thang-ta) with a minimum of three years Foundation/Certificate Course from a recognized school, college, university or institution funded/sponsored by the State or Central Government.
6	B.A. in Music	You must have passed/cleared 10+2 examination or Senior School Certificate examination from a recognized Board/Council/University in any stream (Science/Humanities/Commerce) or equivalent examination along WITH Music as a subject of study. OR You must have passed/cleared 10+2 examination or Senior School Certificate examination from a recognized Board/Council/University in any stream (Science/Humanities/Commerce) OR equivalent examination along WITHOUT Music as a subject of study can also apply provided the you have cleared anyone of the following examinations. a) Madhyama Examination of the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow. b) Three years Junior Diploma Examination of Banaras Hindu University, U.P. c) Senior Diploma Examination of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad d) Madhyama Examination of A.B.G.M.V. Mandal, Mumbai e) Madhyama Examination of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh f) Any other equivalent examinations recognized by UGC.
