Madhya Pradesh High Court has prescribed specific criteria for the Madhya Pradesh Judicial Services Exam, conducted annually to fill various civil judge posts.

As per the official notification, your online application can be processed only if you satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting body.

MP Judiciary Age Limit 2023 

You are eligible for the MP Judiciary Exam 2023 only if you satisfy the age limit criteria prescribed by the exam conducting body. Otherwise, your candidature will get cancelled.

  • According to the official notification, your minimum age should be 21 years as of 01 January 2023.
  • The maximum age limit to apply for the exam is 35 years.
  • You can also apply for the exam if you work as a permanent or temporary MP Administrative Cadre. However, your MP Judiciary age limit should be between 21-38 years.

MP Judiciary Age Relaxation 2023 

As per the MP Judiciary Eligibility Criteria, the upper age limit is relaxable if you belong to the reserved category. However, the relaxation differs depending on your category.

MP Judiciary Exam Eligibility Criteria - Educational Qualification

In 2022, the Madhya Pradesh High Court released 270 MP Civil Judge vacancies. This year also, we can expect a good number of vacancies. However, you must fulfil the High Court of MP's eligibility criteria.

  • To apply for the Madhya Pradesh Civil Judge exam, you must have completed your graduation in Law from a recognized university.
  • Also, you must have passed your final year examination before the Interview round to be eligible for the exam.

MP Judiciary Eligibility Criteria 2023 - Nationality

You can apply for the MP Judicial Services Exam only if you fit the below-mentioned criteria:

  • You must be a citizen of India to apply for the civil judge post at the MP High Court.
  • You can apply for the MP civil judge exam even if you are not from Madhya Pradesh. However, you must satisfy the additional mandatory requirements set by the authorities.

MP Judiciary Exam Disqualification Rules 2023

The High Court of Madhya Pradesh must cancel your candidature for selection in the following cases. As a result, the candidate will be debarred from all recruitment processes.

  • If any applicant received or attempted to support impersonation or has produced forged documents or documents which have been tampered with or any substance given for examination in any sense.
  • False information has been given in the application/letter/attestation/document.
  • A male or female applicant who, at the time of their marriage, had one or more spouses is alive. But in such a case, the Government will decide otherwise.
  • Th one who has been convicted of any offence against women.
  • The one who has more than two children, one of whom is born on or after the 25th day of January 2001, but shall not be disqualified if two or more children are born in subsequent delivery with one child alive
  • If you have suppressed material information or any other irregular or unfair means to gain admission to the examination.

MP Judiciary Eligibility Criteria 2023 - Important Information

  • As per the official notification, you should have good character and health to apply for the civil judge post.
  • Also, you must make sure that no criminal cases are on you. To validate the same, you must submit your character certificate issued by the authorities in your university.
  • Ensure that the information provided by you is factually correct and is provided as per your original documents.
  • Providing any wrong information in the online application form may lead to disqualification.
  • You cannot apply for the exam if you have more than one spouse.
