Detailed MH CET Law Syllabus 2022

The topics you must focus on are as follows:

  • Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning

This topic will examine the candidate's interest in the study of law, as well as their legal understanding and problem-solving abilities. Questions will be prepared using legal prepositions and a set of facts to which the prepositions must be applied. Some prepositions may or may not be true in their literal sense. Candidates must accept the veracity of these prepositions and respond to the questions by drawing well-supported conclusions.

  • General Knowledge with Current Affairs

The topics such History, Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, and the Current Affairs of the past One Year. The purpose of the topic is to measure students' understanding of current events and global awareness.

  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning

The subject is designed to examine the candidate's capacity to comprehend patterns, logical relationships and rectify illogical arguments. It will involve broad comparisons, the completion of arguments, the drawing of well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, and applying principles or norms. Furthermore, the subject is designed to assess the ability to comprehend the structure relationships and draw logical conclusions about the structures. It entails deductive reasoning from a set of statements and rules or principles that define the relationship between people, things, or events.

  • English

This part will include questions on vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies, and so on). Proficiency (Idioms and Phrases, One-Word Substitution, Sentence Improvement, Rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks, etc.) English comprehension with at least two passages, followed by five to ten questions evaluating reading and reasoning abilities.

MH CET Law Entrance Syllabus 2022 (MH CET- 5 years)

  • There are some differences between  MH CET Law -3 year course and MH CET Law 5 year integrated course.
  • In MH CET LAW(5 years), the Mathematical Aptitude subject is additional. It comprises 10 marks. 
  • In addition, the marking scheme is different in both examinations.

Detailed MH CET law syllabus 2022

The topics you must focus on are as follows:

  • Mathematical Aptitude

This section is intended to evaluate candidates' numerical abilities.

The mathematics problems will range from the 10th-grade level and will cover a variety of concepts such as profit and loss, speed and distance, time and work, algebra, average, and Venn diagram.

  • Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning

This section will test the candidate’s interest in the study of Law, Legal aptitude, and problem-solving ability. Questions will be framed with the help of legal prepositions and a set of facts to which the said prepositions.
Have to be applied. Some prepositions may not be true in the real sense. Candidates will have to assume the truth of these prepositions and answer the questions drawing well-supported conclusions.

  • General Knowledge with Current Affairs

The topics such as History (Ancient. Medieval, and Modern), Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, and the Current Affairs of the past One Year. The subject is to assess the knowledge of the recent happenings
and awareness of the world.

  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning

The subject is to test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns of logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It will include wide analogies, completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, applying principles or rules. Further, the subject is to measure the ability to understand the structure. Relationship and to draw logical conclusions about the structures. It includes reasoning deductively from the set of statements and rules or principles that describes the relationship among persons, things, or events.

  • English

This section will consist of questions on the areas like Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies, etc.) Proficiency (Idioms and Phrases, One-word Substitution, Sentence Improvement, rearrangement, fill in the blanks, etc.) English Usage Errors (Common errors, Spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes, etc) English Comprehension.

As per the recent announcement, the MH CET Law 2022 Exam will commence from May 17 and 18th, 2022.
As per the reservation policy of the state, 10% of the seats are reserved for all India category candidates. 
You can apply for MH CET Law 2022 in online mode on the official website: mahacet.org.
In the 3-year LLB program, around 16000 seats will be offered through MH CET law 2021. There are 145 law colleges and universities that will offer a 3-year LLB.
Through MH CET law 2021, the law colleges will offer around 10,000 seats for 5-year LLB course.
