JNU offers admissions in UG and COP Programmes for the academic session 2025-26 through the CUET exam in the School of Language, Literature & Cultural Studies and the School of Sanskrit & Indic Studies.

JNU UG Admission Process 2025

Application Procedure for JNU admission through CUET Online Registration is: 

  • Step 1: Enter your personal information in the online application.
  • Step 2: Enter your qualifications in the online application.
  • Step 3: Upload your scanned photo and signature. The photo should be in jpg or jpeg format and between 10 kb and 200 kb in size, and the signature image must be between 4 and 30 kb in size.
  • Step 4: Pay the amount using an online payment method.

1- Deprivation Points (up to a maximum of 12 points over the CBT score marks on a scale of 100) are given if you belong to the following categories mentioned below. 

2- You would get separate points for each educational level i.e. 10th/High School/Matriculation/12th level/ Intermediate and B.A./B.Sc. from either a Quartile 1 or Quartile 2 District as given below:
