IIM Bangalore BBA Admission Process 2025

Candidates interested in the BBA (DBE) program at IIM Bangalore can qualify through one of the following two pathways:

Path 1:

• Appear for the IIMB DBE Entrance Test 2025, conducted by IIM Bangalore.

Path 2 (Alternative Tests):

Submit valid scores from one of the following:

• CUET (UG) General Test (Section III only) from the 2023, 2024, or 2025 examinations, or
• JEE Main scores from the 2023, 2024, or 2025 examinations.

Important Notes:

• CUET General Test scores will be considered. Domain-specific subjects and the English language section will not be evaluated.
• JEE Advanced scores will be accepted.
• Submitting one valid score (either from CUET or JEE) is sufficient for those applying through the alternative tests.

IIM Bangalore BBA Selection Process 2025

Candidates opting for Path 1 (IIMB DBE Entrance Test) will be notified to appear for the IIMB DBE Entrance Test 2025, which will be conducted at designated centres across India as a computer-based test.

Please note that selection for the program will be solely based on performance in the respective tests.

Shortlisted candidates will be determined based on the category-wise and section-wise cut-offs set by the Admissions Office, derived from the IIMB DBE Entrance Test 2025, CUET 2023/2024/2025, or JEE 2023/2024/2025 scores.

Only those candidates who meet the cut-off will be invited to register for the program by paying the required program fee.

Last Year IIMB BBA DBE Cutoff

Cut-off also plays a major role in the IIM Bangalore BBA Admission Process.

The selection for the BBA (DBE) program 2024 was based entirely on candidates' performance in the IIMB DBE Entrance Test.

Candidates who scored 20% or higher in General Awareness were shortlisted for further processing.

The overall score, calculated from the three sections (Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Logical and Analytical Reasoning) without sectional cut-offs, was considered.

Candidates with a combined score of 50% or more were offered admission under the general merit category.

Additionally, candidates from the NC-OBC and EWS categories with 45% or more, and those from the SC, ST, and PWD categories with 40% or more, were also offered admission.

These selection criteria were used for the previous year's admissions and may be subject to change for the upcoming batch, at the Institute’s discretion.

IIM Bangalore BBA Fee Structure 2025

Upon completing the IIM Bangalore BBA Admission Process, candidates need to proceed with the fee.

The complete bba fee for a three-year degree programme for the 2025 batch is Rs. 4,50,000.

There is a 50% fee concession for SC/ST and Pwd students.

The fees must be paid term by term, as shown in the table below.
