Eligibility Criteria for IIM Amritsar IPMAT 2025

1. Age Limit

• Candidates should not exceed more than 20 years as of July 1, 2025.
• For SC/ST/PwD candidates, a 5-year relaxation benefit is provided.
• That means the maximum age for them is 25 years as of July 1, 2025

2. Educational Qualification

• Applicants wishing to register for the IIM Amritsar IPMAT 2025 program must have done their Class XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025, with Maths as a compulsory subject.

3. Minimum Percentage Requirement

• General/EWS Category: A minimum of 60% is required in Class X (SSC) and Class XII (HSC).
• NC-OBC Category: A minimum of 55% is required in Class X and Class XII.
• SC/ST/PwD Category: A minimum of 50% is required in Class X and Class XII.

2. Matriculation/Secondary School Documents:

3. Higher Secondary School Documents:

4. Percentage Equivalence Certificates

For schools that provide letter grades or CGPA instead of percentage marks for Secondary and Higher Secondary levels.

How to Apply for the IIM Amritsar IPMAT 2025?

Step 1: Candidates must apply for IPMAT 2025, conducted by IIM Indore.

Step 2: The test assesses both quantitative and verbal abilities in English.

Admission Process 

The IIM Amritsar IPMAT admission process comprises four stages.

Stage 1: Candidates must appear for the IPMAT exam conducted by IIM Indore.
Stage 2: Based on IPMAT scores, shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The minimum ATS, based on category, will be set by the admission committee.
Stage 3: The IIM Amritsar interview will assess candidates on academics, goals, current affairs, and other details.
Stage 4: A final merit list will be released, determining admission based on academic profile, communication skills, general awareness, and extracurricular activities.

International Applicant Criteria & Selection Process 2025

1. Total Seats Available: 5

2. Age Limit: Candidates must be 20 years or younger as of July 1, 2025.

3. Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed or be appearing for Class XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025.
• Mathematics is a mandatory subject.

4. Minimum Percentage Requirement:
