Renowned Urdu novelist, Abdullah Hussian, from Pakistan died in Lahore after battling with blood cancer. He was 84. HE authored the bestseller and critically acclaimed novel Udas Naslain, it is considered as a masterpiece of Urdu literature. His other famous works are Baagh, Farib and Nashaib.
