Tata and GE to train 10,000 in Healthcare
Tata Trusts and GE Healthcare have entered into an agreement to train 10,000 youth in various technical areas of the healthcare sector in three years.
● The partnership is aimed at bridging the skills gap among healthcare staff in technical or operating roles.
● GE Healthcare will expand its network of training institutes from 10 to 25 across the country.
● While Tata Trusts will provide an interest-free loan of Rs.86,000 per candidate to cover the course fee for an entire year.
● Once the beneficiaries land full-time jobs, the amount will be repaid to Tata Trusts on minimal monthly instalments.
● On completion of the course, the candidates, normally Class 12 passouts, could earn between Rs.12,000 and Rs.18,000 per month depending on the job location.
● Tata Trusts annually spends about Rs.750 crore on various philanthropic initiatives, out of which 25 per cent goes to healthcare.

टाटा ट्रस्ट्स और जीई हेल्थकेयर ने सोमवार को तीन साल में स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र के विभिन्न तकनीकी क्षेत्रों में 10,000 नौजवानों को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए एक साझेदारी की घोषणा की।
● यह साझेदारी स्वास्थ्य देखभाल तकनीकी या आपरेटिंग स्टाफ को प्रशिक्षित करने पर केन्द्रित है।
● भारत में जीई हेल्थकेयर एजुकेशन इंस्टीट्यूट अपने स्वास्थ्य देखभाल कौशल निर्माण और कौशल विकास कार्यक्रम ‘योग्य भारत फॉर एन आरोग्य भारत’ का संचालन करता है, जिसका उद्देश्य प्रशिक्षित स्वास्थ्य देखभाल स्रोतों को विकसित कर पूरे देश में गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य देखभाल का विकास करना है।
● जीई एचसीई 12वीं कक्षा पास करने वाले विद्यार्थियों के लिए मान्यताप्राप्त कौशल निर्माण पाठ्यक्रम और मौजूदा स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र के पेशेवरों के लिए कौशल विकास कार्यक्रम उपलब्ध करवाता है।
● जीई हेल्थकेयर के साथ भागीदारी स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र में तकनीकी और परिचालन कर्मचारियों के अंतर को पाटने पर ध्यान देगी।
● टाटा ट्रस्ट 750 करोड़ डॉलर परमार्थ कार्यों पर खर्च करेगी जिसमें से 25 प्रतिशत स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र के लिये है।
