IAF's Upgraded Jaguar Darin III receives IOC
The upgraded Jaguar DARIN III twin-seat aircraft on 24 November 2016 received the Initial Operation Clearance (IOC).
● IOC is a significant milestone for India’s military aviation sector.
● This completion of IOC for DARIN III was announced by Deputy Chief of IAF, Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria.
● It was created by upgrading three DARIN I Standard Jaguars.
● Three DARIN I (Display Attack Ranging Inertial Navigation) jaguars were indigenously upgraded at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s (HAL) Mission and Combat System Research and Design Centre (MCSRDC).
● Organisations involved in upgrading Jaguar from DARIN-I aircraft to DARIN-III included Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the trial team of the Aircraft Systems Testing Establishment (ASTE), certification agencies and others.
● HAL is India’s aerospace and defence company.
● It is based in Bangalore, Karnataka.
● It is governed under the management of the Indian Ministry of Defence.

उन्नत ‘जगुआर डीएआरआईएन 3’ को प्रारंभिक संचालन मंजूरी आईओसी मिल गई है, जो देश के सैन्य विमानन क्षेत्र की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
● हाल में यहां के एचएएल हवाई अड्डे पर ‘जगुआर डीएआरआईएन डिस्प्ले अटैक रेंजिंग इनर्शियल नेविगेशन 3’ विमान से उड़ान भरने वाले भारतीय वायुसेना आईएएफ के उप प्रमुख एयर मार्शल आर के एस भदौरिया ने आईओसी के संतोषप्रद तरीके से पूरा होने की घोषणा की।
● एयरक्राफ्ट एंड सिस्टम्स टेस्टिंग इस्टैबलिशमेंट के टेस्ट पायलट विंग कमांडर वी प्रभाकरण उनके सहयोगी को-पायलट थे।
● एचएएल के सीएमडी टी सुवर्ण राजू ने कहा कि विमान अब विश्व स्तरीय विमानन प्रणाली से लैस है।
● इस महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि को हासिल करने में शामिल लोगों को बधाई देते हुए एयर मार्शल भदौरिया ने कहा कि आंकड़ा प्रबंधन और सम्पूर्ण क्षमताओं के मामले में ‘डीएआरआईएन 3 अपग्रेड’ सर्वश्रेष्ठ उन्नत विमान था।
