Great Britain women's hockey team won its first ever Olympic gold on Saturday, after defeating the defending champions Netherlands in the penalty shootout of the final. 
•    The match had ended at 3-3, after which Britain went on to win 2-0 in the penalty shootout. 
•    The Dutch women's team had won gold medals in the last two editions of the Olympics.
