Andy Ganteaume, the previous West Indies and Trinidad and Tobago wicketkeeper-batsman, passed away on 17 February 2016 in Santa Margarita, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. He was 95.

Ganteaume was West Indies' most seasoned living Test cricketer, and the world's second most established, after South Africa's Lindsay Tuckett.

Andy Ganteaume was a Trinidadian cricketer who played one Test match for the West Indies in 1948 as a batsman.
He scored 112 in his just Test innings, which left him with most noteworthy Test batting normal ever.
He played for Trinidad from a youthful age and was played in a Test match against England taking after his great batting structure in 1948.

In 1957, he visited England with West Indies yet did not make the playing XI for any of the Tests.
