SSC JHT Latest News 2020

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) conducts Junior Hindi Translator (SSC) JHT Exam every year to fill in various Translator posts across the country. SSC JHT Notification 2020, which is going to be released on April 17, 2020, will get postponed. However, there is "no official notice" released by the commission about the postponement.
Candidates are advised to check out the official SSC website on a regular basis for the new updates.
SSC JHT Latest News 2020
- 21 July 2020: The SSC JHT Exam which was scheduled to be held on 06 October 2020 has been postponed by the commission due to the current crisis across the country. As per the notice, the exam is scheduled for 19 November 2020. Click here to know more information about the latest updates of the JHT Exam.
- 08 June 2020: As per the recent notice, the Paper-II Result of SSC JHT Exam which was held in 2019 will be announced in the month of June 2020.
- 01 June 2020: As per the latest reports, the SSC JHT Paper -1 Exam is scheduled to be held on 06 October 2020.
- 17 April 2020: The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC JHT Notification for the year 2020.
- 16 May 2020: The last date to fill the SSC JHT Application form was announced as May 16, 2020, by the commission.
- 16 May 2020: The last date for submitting the receipt of the application form was declared as May 16, 2020.
- 18 May 2020: It is announced that the last date for making online fee payments of the JHT Application Form was May 18, 2020.
- 18 May 2020: The last date for generating offline Challan was May 18, 2020.
- 20 May 2020: Candidates are able to make payment through Challan till May 20, 2020. It is advised that the payment should be made during the working hours of the Bank.
- 01 October 2020: Paper-1, the computer-based exam is scheduled to be conducted on October 01, 2020.
- January 2021: The Staff Selection Commission is scheduled to conduct SSC JHT Paper-2 (Conventional) Exam.

The SSC JHT is a national-level examination conducted every year to recruit suitable candidates as Hindi Translator under various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The duty of an SSC JHT involves:
- translating/writing important documents, scripts, journals into the Hindi language.
- Translation/Typing of documents from English to Hindi.
- Ensuring the use/promotion of Hindi.
- To help organize Hindi Meeting and Hindi workshops.
- Maintaining files and records related to Hindi.
- Translating various journals, forms, books, circulars, manuals, and articles in Hindi.
- To act as a Teaching Officer for Hindi Teaching Scheme.
Many students will apply every year for SSC JHT Exam due to its high paid salary and extra allowances. Interested candidates should go through the SSC JHT Syllabus and exam pattern before filling the application form. SSC JHT exam is conducted in two stages: Paper I and Paper-II. candidates must note that the board will evaluate Paper-II only when one can qualify in the Paper – I exam.
