Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC JHT Notification 2020 to recruit eligible candidates for various Translator posts like  Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translator (JT), Senior Hindi Translator (SHT) and Hindi Pradhyapak (HP) across the country. How to Fill SSC JHT Application Form 2020?

The process of filling the SSC JHT Application Form 2002 consists of two steps:

  • Part-1: One Time Registration
  • Part-2: Filling of Online Application for the Examination

Part-1: One Time Registration

The One Time Registration is required to “Log in” to the exam page you are applying in the Official Website of SSC. Therefore, it is mandatory to register yourself first on the website. Follow the steps provided below for a one-time registration process.

  • Visit the official website of SSC
  • On the Home page, click on the “Apply” button
  • Then, click on the “JHT” tab visible on the screen
  • Search for “JHT Application Form” and then click on it
  • You are redirected to the registration page.
  • Click on the “New Registration” tab
  • Enter all the details like Father’s name, date of birth, gender, etc and click on the “Enter” button to proceed further for the registration process.
  • Your Registration number and password is generated
  • Keep the details safe for further process

Part-2: Filling of Online Application

  • Candidates have to log in using their registration number and password to fill the online form
  • Enter all the required details like gender, caste, educational qualification, etc and also choose an exam center of your choice
  • After registration, upload your photo and signature as specified in the above format
  • Preview all the details and if necessary, make the correction, and then,  click on Submit button
  • Now, proceed to the payment of application fee
  • Candidates can make their choice of fee payment mode i.e., online or offline
  • Aspirants should take print-out of challan for payment of the fee in cash generated online after completion of part I registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of State Bank of India and then continue with the Part II registration.
  • Candidates who are paying the fee online through net banking/ debit/ credit cards can go directly to part II registration after completion of part I by clicking the ‘payment’ tab.
  • Once payment is done, click on the “Submit” button

SSC JHT 2020 Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General category have to make payment of Rs.100/- while filling the SSC JHT Apply Online Form 2020. Candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Persons with disability, Ex-servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from fee payment.

SSC JHT Application Form Correction

Candidates must note that application forms once filled cannot be edited.

  • The option to edit the Junior Hindi Translator application form is applicable only before the final submission of the form i.e., before clicking on the Submit button.
  • The “Save and Next” option is provided so that all the entries made can be proofread again and the changes can be done before the final submission.
  • Candidates must keep in mind that no changes can be done in the JHT online form after the payment of fees.
