October 07, 2020: Notice Regarding SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam

The commission has released a notice regarding important instructions of the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam. As per the notice, the commission is making separate/isolated seating arrangements for candidates with fever, cold, etc. For more information, Check Official Notice.

October 06, 2020: Tier 1 Admit Card Released

The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CHSL Admit Card for Tier 1 on the official website. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their registration number and password.

Reschedule of Tier 1 Exam

July 21, 2020: The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam which was scheduled to be held in the month of August has been postponed by the commission due to the current crisis across the country. As per the notice, the exam is rescheduled to be conducted from 12 October to 16 October 2020, 19 October to 21 October 2020, and 26 October 2020. Schedule of SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Published by Official Authority

As per the latest notice released by the commission, SSC CHSL 2020 Tier-1 Exam is scheduled to be conducted from 17th to 21st August 2020 and 24th to 27th August 2020. New Exam Dates Yet To Be Announced

The commission made an announcement on 15th April 2020 that the fresh dates for SSC CHSL 2019 Exam and SSC CHSL Skill Test for 2018 will be decided after the 3rd of May,2020. The new rescheduled dates will be notified on the Commission, Regional /Sub-Regional Offices of SSC. 

Exam Date Postponed

The SSC CHSL Tier 1 was scheduled from 17th March to 28th March 2020. Understanding the current scenario across the country, the exam conducting body announced the postponing of the exam.

New Notice Published by the Commission

SSC CHSL 2020 Tier 1 was conducted for 3 days (17th to 19th March 2020) instead of 12 days (17th to 28th March 2020) as per the notice released by the officials. Overall till the 19th March 2020, the examination was Easy to Moderate level. Most of the questions were repeated in other shifts with a slight change in the form of the Chart and in the English Language section, there was no reading comprehension, only Cloze Test was asked in the exam.

Admit Card Released; Download Now

The SSC CHSL Admit Card released along with the remaining Application Status for all the regions. Candidates were able to download the Hall Ticket till the last day of the exam.

The officials released the SSC CHSL Application Status on 2 March 2020 for the few of the regions.

Official Notification Published  

The SSC CHSL Official Notification 2019-20 released on 03 December 2020 on the official website. Candidates were able to apply online till 10th January 2020. Along with the application form dates, the SSC CHSL Exam Dates for Tier 1 and Tier 2 was also mentioned in the notice.

What is SSC CHSL?

SSC CHSL is one of the exams conducted for Combines Higher Secondary Level Exam by the Staff Selection Commission of India, which will conduct every year with a huge number of posts for the 10+2 candidates. This is the only exam who gave a chance for the 10+2 candidates which is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission once in a year.

The SSC CHSL Recruitment Process will be done for the posts namely-

As per the notification, the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level 2020 Recruitment is expected to fill more than 4893 vacancies out of which 1269 for LDC/JSA, 3598 for PA/SA, and 26 for DEO posts.
SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam consists of 3 stages -
  • Stage 1 - Online Test 
  • Stage 2- Descriptive Exam

Yes. As per the notification, the candidates in their final year are also eligible to apply for the CHSL Recruitment 2020. However, they have to submit the final year mark sheet at the time of document verification. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the exam is to be 12th Standard pass.
The Application form for CHSL 2020-21 Recruitment will be released in the month of November 2020. So, the Application link will be activated from 30th November 2020. 
Yes you can apply if you satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed for CGL and CHSL completely.
Tier 2 will consist of the Descriptive Test which will have Essay Writing and Letter Writing in the paper. The maximum marks in the exam is 100. Tier 2 Exam will be conducted in an offline mode. Here, the minimum qualifying marks will be 33%. The candidates who clear the Tier 2 will only be allowed to sit for the Tier 3 Exam.

In the case of Tie Cases, the following points will be applicable to resolve the ties-

  • Total Marks of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Exam
  • Total Marks obtained in Tier 2 Exam
  • Total Marks obtained in Tier 1 Exam
  • Older Candidates placed higher along with Date of Birth
  • First Names of the candidates in an Alphabetical Order
The SSC CHSL Shift 3 is conducted from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
