SSC CHSL Exam Day Instructions

Staff Selection Commission is particular about following the right code of conduct during the examination. Following are a few SSC CHSL Exam Day Instructions that all candidates are required to adhere to.

  • Any mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, scanner, camera, storage devices of any kind shouldn’t be taken inside.
  • Smartwatches or any basic watch is also not permitted.
  • You can view the time on your monitor screens for CBT and a clock will be fitted inside the exam room to check the time.
  • Do not carry stationery items or loose paper inside the examination hall. Staff Selection Commission does provide loose paper and pen for rough work.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2019

  • The exam is conducted in 3 stages ( Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3)
  • Tier 1 is an Objective/MCQ type paper and is conducted Online ( Computer Based)
  • Tier 2:- Descriptive Subjective type paper. Conducted Offline.
  • Tier 3 is a Computer Proficiency/Skill Test.

Exam Pattern for Tier 1 –

  1. The time limit for Tier 1 has been reduced from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.
  2. There is no sectional cut off.
