The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts the admission process in two stages, the entrance exam and the NIFT counselling.
All candidates who have successfully cleared the selection process and obtained a valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) must register and fill up the application by Midnight (12:00 A.M.) June 11, 2024.

The steps to register for NIFT Counselling is given below -
- Go to the official website of NIFT @ nift.admissions.nic.in
- Click on the "Registration and Choice filling for UG/PG counselling"
- You will be greeted this window, fill out the details and click on submit.
- Once you have registered, upload the supporting documents.
- Download the NIFT application form for future reference.

NIFT Counselling: Eligibility
Candidates who meet the NIFT exam eligibility criteria and successfully cleared the selection process and obtained a valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) can head to the official website to apply for the NIFT Counselling round 1.

NIFT 2024 Seat Allotment Process
The seat allotment for NIFT will take into account various factors, and candidates must meet the NIFT Cut-Off for 2024.
- The merit rank in NIFT 2024
- Seat intake for the applied program
- Options selected at the time of counseling registration (combination of Campus + academic program)
- PwD status
- Admission category - Open, SC, ST, PwD, etc.
