Summary: Every state exam has a reservation for the socio-economically backward. Similarly, MH CET Law lists reservation policies for various social-economic categories and for children of service personnel. Here is a breakdown of reservation policies for MH CET Law.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) announces the MH CET legal reservation policy 2024 for 3-year-LLB and 5-year-LLB admissions.
The reservation policy describes how seats are allotted across categories and how seat distribution works in government and private institutions participating in the MH CET legislation 2024 admission process.
Candidates from throughout India who apply for the MH CET legislation 2024 are classified in the open category, which implies that no seats are specifically reserved for them, independent of social caste.
Backward class reservations for the MH CET Law Exam are only available to Maharashtra residents.
Among the social groups evaluated for reservation are SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and notified tribes. Around half of the seats are allocated to candidates from socioeconomic caste groups.
Candidates with caste certificates from states other than Maharashtra will be able to compete in the Open Category.
Some of the castes that fall under the SBC category used to be categorised under the other backward groups. Therefore, such an SBC applicant will be considered qualified for reservation in MH CET law in the previously specified backward class.
If any reserved seats are left following the merit list admission process, SBC applicants will be permitted entrance on a first-come, first-served basis to occupy the seat on a priority basis up to 2% of the total intake capacity.
