The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) Maharashtra every year conducts the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MH CET). This common entrance test (CET) is conducted to get admission to the 5 - year and 3 - year LL.B. programs offered by 147 law colleges across the country.

  • The candidate should study Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning and should keep themselves prepared because Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning is the main subject in the MH CET law entrance examination. 

Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning has a weightage of 30 questions out of the 150 questions in the 3 - year LL.B. program test and 40 questions out of the 150 questions in the 5 - year LL.B. program test. So, you should prepare well for Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning especially.

Frequently Asked Questions

Candidates must start their preparation with NCERT and the books referred by their mentors or previous year exam toppers. Other than the above-mentioned books, candidates can refer also to RD Sharma of Class 11 and 12 for Mathematics, Concepts of Physics by H C Sharma, and MHT CET chemistry by Arihant Publishers.
The exam is of moderate level of difficulty. The exam is conducted in Computer-Based Mode at various exam centers in Maharashtra and other states.
A good score in MH CET law 2022 should be around 100 - 105 for admission to top law colleges.
