The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a widely recognized entrance examination conducted by NTA for UG admissions into 260+ CUET participating universities to admit candidates into undergraduate programs. 

  • CUET Total Marks depend upon the subjects you choose. 
  • You can select up to a maximum of 6 subjects in the exam.
  • For eg: If you choose 1 language paper and 4 domain subjects, your total marks would be 1000 for 5 subjects, and if you choose 1 language paper, 4 domain papers and 1 general test, your total marks would be 1250.

For multiple-choice questions, you must select the option that best reflects the accurate or most appropriate answer to the question. 

However, if any discrepancy is discovered during the CUET answer key verification challenge process, it must be addressed in the following manner:

  • Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)
  • Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
  • Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
  • If more than one option is found to be correct, then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
