West Bengal Judiciary Notification 2021

It is expected that the notification is released in the first week of July 2021. The High Court of West Bengal will release the notification on the official website. 

Your minimum age should be less than 23 years and the maximum age should be 35 years in order to be eligible for the West Bengal Judiciary 2021 Exam. The age relaxation will be provided for SC/ST/BC category.

The WBJS examination will be held in three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Personality Test. All three stages are qualifying in nature. You are advised to go through the detailed notification before applying for the exam.

West Bengal Civil Judge 2021 Salary Structure

The salary of the West Bengal Civil Judge High Court ranges between Rs. 27,700 to Rs. 44,700 per month. Apart from the West Bengal civil Judge Salary, you will be entitled to get many benefits and allowances such as House Rent Allowance (HRA), travel allowance, dearness allowance, travel allowance, and others. In the initial joining, the basic pay will be Rs. 27,700.

• After that, the increment will be Rs. 770 per year until the basic salary reaches Rs. 33,900. Once it reaches 33,900, the increment will be Rs 920 per year until the salary reaches Rs. 40,450.
• The total amount of salary in the initial level is around 58,839 including 27,700 (Basic), 29,639(dearness allowance) + 1500 (medical allowance).

The Judiciary Eligibility for WBPSC Recruitment 2021 is based on 3 parameters namely age limit, qualification, and nationality.  You must fulfill the required eligibility criteria to apply for the exam.

• You must be a citizen of India (or).
• You must have a Bachelor of Law degree from any institute or university recognized by the State Government or the Central Government. (or)li)

The application form can be filled only in online mode. If you are willing to apply for the exam, make sure to fill the West Bengal Judiciary Application Form on or before the last date.

• On the Home page, click on the "WBJS Application Form" link
• You will be directed to a new page where you will find an option as ‘enroll yourself’, click on it.
• You will get the enrollment form where you will need to fill in all the details such as your name, address, contact details, etc.
• Click on the "sign up" button
• You will receive an OTP to the registered mobile number or email address.
• If the process is successful, then you will get the enrollment number displayed on your screen.
• You will need to re-login to the website using your login credentials
• Enter all details like personal information, eligibility, qualification, and others.
• Upload a scanned signature and photo as per the specifications
• Pay the required fee for your application as per the category

• The mains examination will consist of eight compulsory papers and three optional papers.
• Each paper is conducted for a total of 100 marks.

Viva-Voce/Personality Test

You will get shortlisted for the viva-voce/personality test only if you qualify in both Prelims and Mains exams.  The personality test is conducted for a total of 100 marks. 

The merit list will include the score of both the final examination (Mains Exam) and personality test.

West Bengal Judiciary Exam Centers 2021

This year, the West Bengal Judicial Services Exam will be held in Kolkata (Code 1) and Darjeeling (Code 2). You will be allowed to appear at Darjeeling Centre only if you belong to Kalimpong District and three Hill Sub-divisions of Darjeeling, viz., Darjeeling Sadar, Mirik, and Kurseong.

The Final Written Examination will be held in Kolkata. The personality test will be held in the office of the Public Service Commission, West Bengal.
