SSC Stenographer Salary: Perks & Allowances

Along with the basic salary, candidates will also be entitled to other allowances such as:

Dearness Allowances (DA)

The cost of living allowance is paid as DA and it will be 12% of the basic pay. The DA will be added to the in-hand salary of SSC employees every month.

Transport Allowance (TA)

The transport allowance is provided to look after daily travelling needs for stenographers. As per stenographer SSC Salary employees posted in the metro cities will get Rs.3600 as TA whereas the employees posted other cities will get Rs.1800 as TA.

House Rent Allowance (HRA)
