What is SNAP Exam?

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) is a national level Computer Based Test (CBT) which is required to be taken by a candidate aspiring to join an MBA program offered by any Institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU].

SNAP 2023 Notification – Important Updates

SNAP exam notification details are as follows - 

  • A candidate can appear for up to three tests for SNAP.  
  • If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation, and there will be no normalization. 
  • Each of the 15 institutes of SIU conducts its own GE-PIWAT. The cut-off for shortlisting is also calculated separately for each programme. 
  • If shortlisted for a programme applied to, the candidate would then need to participate in the further admission process (GE-PIWAT) of that particular programme. 
  • The weightage of various parameters for the merit list are: SNAP Score (out of 60, scaled down to 50 marks) – 50; Group Exercise (GE) – 10; Personal Interview (PI) – 30; Writing Ability Test (WAT) – 10  
  • It is mandatory to attend all components/tests of GE-PIWAT to be eligible for admission to any PG programme. Only the candidate who attends all components/tests of the selection process (GE-PIWAT) shall be considered eligible for the generation of merit / wait/reject list. 
  • The category-wise cut-off for Merit List and Wait List will be displayed on the website of the respective Institutes.

SNAP 2023 Notification – Registration Process 

A candidate can appear for up to three tests for SNAP 2023. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation, and there will be no normalization.

  • To register online, visit the official website - https://www.snaptest.org/.
  • Any change in the online registration form (except name, date of birth, category, test city preferences and test date) must be done before the last date. 
  • No change shall be permitted after the last date under any circumstances.
  • Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate. *No change in name, date of birth, category, test city and test date requests will be entertained once a candidate has paid her/his SNAP Test 2022 registration fee.
  • Upload your latest scanned colour passport-size photo at the time of online registration for the SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than three months old).

Pay the SNAP Test registration fee of INR 1950/- per test

**The SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute are non-refundable and non-transferable.

2. Demand Draft

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 1950/- per test (Government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in the ‘Make Payment’ Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,
