SNAP Syllabus 2025 Preparation Tips

1. Reading Comprehension Preparation Tips

  • Maintaining attention and focus is essential to dealing effectively with long passages. Reading frequently will help you improve your understanding, especially in familiar areas. To do this, try reading various materials such as online journals, books, magazines, and newspapers.
  • When practising, please keep track of the time it takes to solve a reading comprehension and work on reducing it each day. A good reading speed provides you with an edge over others.
  • Concentrate on the opening and closing paragraphs of a passage. While most passages will be short, some may be lengthy.
  • Use context to your advantage. When a question is based on a particular line, take the time to read at least two to three sentences before and after the line. This will help you better understand what the passage is trying to convey and write a more accurate answer.
  • Improving your vocabulary is crucial to becoming a proficient reader. Try increasing your vocabulary by reading editorials and taking note of new words. You can also practice using these new words in your conversations.

  • Clear your English grammar basics to solve sentence correction and error detection questions.
  • Practice reported speech and tenses-related questions to improve your skills. Identify any unfamiliar words and try to understand their meaning and usage.

  • Time management is crucial to achieving a good score. Reading and practising are the keys to acing the Verbal Ability section.
  • Lastly, try talking to people in English. While you may initially feel shy and make many mistakes, you will soon discover that your confidence and accuracy will increase with more practice.

  • Keep a running list of essential theorems and equations in the SNAP quant syllabus. Make sure to revise all the shortcuts before the exam.
  • Memorize up to 20 mathematics tables, including squares, cubes, square roots, percentages, and fractions.
  • Practice many sample papers and mock tests from various sources to improve speed and accuracy in the SNAP subjects.
