CLAT Counselling 2020 will be conducted in an online mode including seat allotment list and confirmation. It will commence right after the results and the merit lists are declared.
Candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below to participate in CLAT 2020 counselling:
Stage 1: Publication of first admission list
CLAT Consortium will release a special merit list for every National Law University dependent on All India Ranks and preferences selected by the candidates during their application procedure. Applicants can check the merit list for every NLU and participate in the counselling accordingly.
Stage 2: CLAT Counselling Fee Payment
According to the admission list, applicants ought to confirm their admission by fee payment and choice locking. Such candidates should wait until subsequent seat allotment list and they will be assigned seats only within the upper list of universities in line with their preferences that they chose in their CLAT 2020 form and depending upon the provision of empty seats.
Stage 3: Publication of second confirmation list
After fee payment and choice locking/update procedure is completed, the CLAT consortium will release a second admission list for the next round of seat distribution process.
