The Life Insurance Corporation of India announced 841 total vacancies for Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) and Assistant Engineer (AE) posts. Specifically, there are 410 vacancies for AAO Specialists across various streams.

The LIC AAO law officer selection is based on a three-phase examination followed by a Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.
The LIC AAO Law officer 2025 examination is conducted entirely online. Candidates need to understand the specific pattern adopted for the AAO (Legal) stream, which differs slightly from that of the Generalist streams in the Prelims.
The Preliminary Examination is an objective test conducted online with a total duration of 60 minutes. Kindly note that the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination will not be counted for the final selection.

*Candidates must qualify for each of the Tests. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the Preliminary Examination. Shortlisting for Mains will be around 20 times the number of vacancies.
The Main Examination for lLIC AAO Law Officer consists of an Objective Test (150 marks) and a Descriptive Test, conducted online in a single sitting. If you qualify in the Objective Test, then only your descriptive test paper will be checked. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the main examination.

The Preliminary Exam for AAO (Legal) is an online, objective-type test lasting 60 minutes. Notably, for the Legal post, the General Awareness section replaces Quantitative Aptitude. The marks obtained in the English Language and General Awareness sections are qualifying only and are not counted for ranking.
