NMAT offers 108 marks, and XAT is evaluated out of 95 marks. This impacts how candidates pace themselves during the test.

Negative marking is another area where aspirants need to be cautious. CAT applies a -1 penalty for wrong answers, while XAT has -0.25 negative marking but exempts GK questions. 

SNAP deducts 25% marks for each incorrect response, whereas NMAT stands out for having no negative marking, encouraging students to attempt all questions without fear of penalty.
