The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the tentative vacancy list for the year 2019-20. Candidates who are appearing for the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D skill test and document verification can now check the vacancies. Also, SSC has released an option form for entering the candidate's desired posts in the order of preference.
SSC Stenographer Exam is conducted to fill in numerous vacancies of Grade C and D Stenographer posts in various Government Organizations/ Ministries or Departments.
Compared to the previous year SSC Stenographer Vacancy list, this year SSC has released a less number of vacancies. There are a total of 1606 vacancies released which includes both SSC Stenographer Grade C and D. SSC Stenographer Post Preference
As per the SSC Stenographer Selection Process, candidates who have successfully qualified for a skill test and document verification, are eligible to fill the detailed options form released by SSC. Stenographer post is one of the highly in demand post due to its high paid SSC Stenographer Salary and Job profile.
This form asks for various details like the Candidate's name, roll number, marking the candidate's options in the order of preference separately for posts. Before proceeding with filling the Post Preference online form, candidates must note certain important points which are listed below.
- Candidates who are willing to give their preference for Border Road Organization must know the terms and condition for Physical Standards, Physical Tests and Medical Standards carefully.
- After the final selection, BRO will be conducting the Measurement of Physical Standards, Physical Tests, and Medical Standards.
- For the Ministries departments, the final selection will be done on the basis of candidate's performance in Computer Based Examination and preference of posts given at the time of Documents verification.
- In the order of post preference entered if a candidate is allotted a post as per their preference, he/she will not be considered for other options.
- As the skill test and document verification will be conducted, try to fill the SSC Stenographer option form before the exam.
Candidates can fill the SSC Stenographer Post Preference Option Form and take the form along with them during Skill test and document verification without fail. The skill test includes a dictation for 10 minutes in English and Hindi as opted by the candidate. The speed for SCS Stenographer Grade C post must be 100 wpm while 80 wpm for SSC Stenographer Grade D post.
