The Bihar APO OMR sheet for the Assistant Prosecution Officer Preliminary Examination (Advt. No. 13/2026) can be downloaded from 28 October 2026 to 3 November 2026.

Candidates can check how to raise an objection email, and how to use your OMR sheet with the Bihar APO answer key to work out a realistic score before the result.
There is no public link or roll-number search for the BPSC APO OMR sheet download PDF. Each candidate's sheet sits inside their own login, so any site promising a "direct PDF" is only sending you to the same BPSC login page.
Candidates first open the sheet next to your admit card and your own notes from 15 July.
| Check | What to Look For | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Roll number | Matches your admit card digit for digit, both written and bubbled | A wrong roll number can put your marks against someone else |
| Question booklet series | The series code you marked matches the booklet you received | Answers are evaluated against the key for that series |
| Paper | Separate sheets for General Studies and Law | You need both to calculate a full Prelims score |
| Signature and photo areas | Your handwriting and signature, not a stranger's | Confirms the sheet is genuinely yours |
| Marked bubbles | Each darkened bubble sits where you remember marking it | The basis of any score you calculate |
| Scan quality | No blank pages, cut-off columns or missing question rows | A partial scan is a valid reason to write to BPSC |
Candidates can send one email to examcontroller-bpsc@gov.in on or before 3 November 2026. That's the only channel BPSC will accept; letters, phone calls and visits to Bailey Road won't be counted.
An OMR objection is about the sheet itself, not about answers. "Question 42 has two correct options" belongs to the answer key process, which closed before the final key came out on 12 October. "My sheet shows Series C but I marked Series A" is an OMR objection.
Keep the email short and checkable. BPSC staff will be reading hundreds of them.
Send it from the email ID you registered with BPSC, and keep the sent copy. If the portal or email bounces close to the deadline, a sent copy with a timestamp is your only record.
Candidate’s memory of what you marked in July is not reliable three months later. The OMR sheet is. Pair it with the final answer key BPSC released on 12 October 2026 and you get the closest estimate available before the result.
As per the Bihar APO exam pattern, each Prelims paper has 100 questions: General Studies carries 100 marks and Law carries 150 marks. That makes a Law question worth 1.5 marks, which is why a few extra correct answers in Paper 2 move your total more than the same number in Paper 1.
Here's a worked example with made-up numbers. Say you got 68 right in General Studies and 74 right in Law, with no negative marking: 68 × 1 + 74 × 1.5 = 68 + 111 = 179 out of 250.
Candidates should keep in mind that Prelims is a screening stage. According to the same exam pattern guide, Prelims marks are not added to the final merit, so your target is to clear the Bihar APO cut off, not to top the paper.
Most problems with the Bihar APO OMR sheet don't come from BPSC. They come from the week candidates spend not looking at it.
The next step is the Bihar APO result for Prelims. BPSC has not announced a date. With the final key out on 12 October and the OMR window ending on 3 November, the result is the remaining Prelims milestone, but any date you see online before an official notice is a guess.
The selection then moves in three stages:
If candidates OMR-based score is comfortably above last cycle's cut off, start Mains answer writing now. Descriptive law papers can't be crammed in the weeks between a result and the Mains date.
Revisit the Bihar APO syllabus for the Other Laws paper first; it covers ten separate Acts, from the NDPS Act to the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, and it's the paper most Prelims-focused candidates have barely opened.
