Updated SSC JE Exam Day Instructions 2020

Staff Selection Commission has set a number of mandatory and strict regulations for all the candidates who are going to appear in the SSC JE Exam 2020. These rules and regulations are a must and should not be neglected at any cost.

  • Candidates should not forget to carry their SSC JE Admit Card or they may be restricted to enter the examination hall.
  • It is advised for all candidates to reach the exam centre at least half an hour before the exam. 
  • Candidates cannot leave the exam hall before the exam timing.
  • In the view of the current situation, candidates must follow social distancing norms and maintain distance between 2 candidates.
  • Candidates must wear masks throughout the exam. Also, candidates can carry hand gloves if necessary. 
  • Candidates having symptoms of fever, cough is not allowed to appear for the exam. The temperature of candidates will be checked using thermo guns at the entry of the SSC JE Exam Center. candidates having above normal (>99.14° F/ 37.3o C) temperature will not be allowed entry.
  • Before proceeding with the exam, candidates must sanitize their hands and continue answering the questions. The exam conducting authority will provide hand sanitizer, however, candidates are also allowed to carry personal sanitizer of 50ml.
  • To the exam hall, candidates can carry only the sanitizer, mask, hand gloves, admit card, passport size photographs, and one valid photo ID proof. 
  • Any stationery items will be provided in the exam hall. Candidates are not allowed to carry any stationery items or any electronic gadgets to the exam hall.

Important Documents to Carry at SSC JE Exam Center

There are a number of important documents and other necessary items that the candidates should carry to the SSC JE Exam Center mandatorily or they might not be allowed to sit for the exam. SSC JE Dress Code 2020:What Not To Wear

As per the SSC JE Exam Day Instructions, there is a specific dress code that the candidates should follow while going to appear for the exam. These instructions are crucial and should not be avoided.

  • No students wear cloths with elaborated long sleeves and big buttons
  • Every candidate should wear sober and simple cloths
  • No female candidates should wear any kind of heals. Instead of heals and shoes, they have to wear open sandals and slippers
  • Candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam hall with heavy traditional items of clothing
  • Simple shirts, t-shirts, jeans, and such plain clothes have to be worn by all the candidates on the exam day
  • Candidates are advised to avoid all kind of flashy jewelry and clothing
  • Male candidates are advised to wear any kind of suits, expensive bracelets, cufflinks, goggles, etc.
  • Female candidates should tie their hairs neatly instead of keeping them open or doing elaborate hairstyles

Stationary Not To Carry to SSC JE Exam Center

There are a few Stationary items that will not be required by you to carry to the exam hall. Some of them will be provided to you by the exam conducting authority.

  • The clock will be provided in the classrooms so the students are not required to carry watches to the classroom. There will be Electronic Watches(timers) on the computer screens of all the candidates
  • A loose sheet of paper will be provided for doing the rough work. Hence, the candidates are not required to carry any kind of chits, loose sheets of paper to the exam hall
  • Do not carry bags/pouches/College bags/backpacks to the exam hall. These will not be allowed to be carried inside the exam hall.
  • The commission will not avail any procedure of safe custody for any kind of such items so better don't carry any such items to the exam hall in order to lessen the complications.
