Round 2 of seat allotments at the National Institute of Design (NID) is underway. The last date for paying the seat acceptance fee was June 25, 2024.

Candidates who have been allocated seats must confirm their acceptance, pay the non-refundable fee, and upload the required documents by midnight. The provisional offer letter for NID DAT BDes round 2 will be issued on June 28.
Candidates must use their login credentials, such as email ID and password, to check the NID DAT Counselling for BDes round 2 provisional offer letter.

The authorities have released the NID seat allotment results based on the choices submitted by students during NID DAT counselling registration. Seats are assigned according to the merit list, candidate category, and seat availability.
Candidates from the General, General-Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Other Backward Class-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories must pay a confirmation fee of Rs 30,000.
International or overseas students must pay Rs 75,000 plus any applicable convenience fees.
If the payment is not completed by the specified deadline, the seat allotment will be cancelled, and the vacant seat will be assigned to the next candidate in the order of merit.

The NID offers one of the most coveted design programs in India. The NID Counselling Round 2 marks a major milestone for NID aspirants.
If you have not been allotted seats during round 2, depending on the vacant seat(s) in each NID, the respective NIDs will conduct subsequent rounds of preference-based seat allocation in the order of merit in the respective category. Such candidates will be informed through their registered email ID.
