The Central University of Assam offers a mix of both Bachelors and Integrated programs for 12 pass-out students. Last year UGC announced that the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is a mandatory exam for all the central universities in the country for UG admissions.
Assam Univeristy adopted CUET admission with a new set of eligibility requirements, syllabus and exam pattern prescribed by NTA.

For instance,
A candidate applying for the Integrated BA LLB program must apply and choose to prepare for English, Legal aptitude, General Knowledge (XII standard), and Maths (X standard) for the CUET exam at Assam University.
Marking Scheme for CUET Assam University Exam Pattern 2024
- The correct answer or the most appropriate answer is allocated five marks (+5)
- Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
- Unanswered/ Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
- If more than one option is found to be correct, then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked all the right options.
- If all options are correct, then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
- If none of the options is found correct/ a Question is found to be wrong/ a Question is dropped, all candidates who attempted the question will be given five marks (+5).
- Evaluation of MCQs of all the Tests/ Subjects will be carried out using final answer keys and, the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered for computation of the CUET result 2024.
