CUET Assam University Exam Pattern 2025: Highlights

The exam pattern for the CUET exam shows the subjects to be chosen for each UG course at the university. You will also learn the sectional weightage and duration of the exam. 

• The exam will be conducted in Hybrid mode, i.e. pen-and-paper/Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, based on the number of registrations.
• The exam will be conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
• The language option for the Question Paper should be selected while filling out the Application Form online, and it cannot be changed at a later stage.
• You may choose a maximum of 06 subjects according to the CUET exam pattern for Assam University, including languages (Indian and Foreign) and General tests.

What is the CUET Assam University Exam Pattern for BTech courses? 

Assam University doesn't offer UG specialization in BTech; instead, it provides integrated M.Tech-BTech dual degree programs in various specializations, such as AI and Data Science, IT, Electronics, etc., through the CUET exam. 

Marking Scheme for CUET Assam University Exam Pattern 2025

The CUET marking scheme specifies how you can calculate your marks and evaluate your performance in the exam. Here are the criteria:  

• The correct answer or the most appropriate answer is allocated five marks (+5)
• Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1). 
• Unanswered/ Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
• If more than one option is found to be correct, then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked all the right options. 
• If all options are correct, then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. 
• If none of the options is found correct/ a Question is found to be wrong/ a Question is dropped, all candidates who attempted the question will be given five marks (+5).
• Evaluation of MCQs for all the Tests/ Subjects will be carried out using final answer keys, and the raw (actual) marks will be considered for computing the CUET result.
