CUET Exam 2024: Latest Updates

The CUET exam, introduced in 2022, is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and integrated programs in various central, private, deemed-to-be and state universities across India.

  • The exam was conducted in a hybrid mode (offline and online) in 380 cities in India and 26 outside.
  • The exam has seen more students than last year for particular subjects due to more subject options and participating univeristies.
  • The attendance recorded over these days will be shared in 2-3 days.
  • The final CUET answer key is expected to be released by the 3rd week of June 2024 (tentatively).
  • The exam results are scheduled to be released by the end of June 2024.

While most CUET test papers were conducted smoothly according to the original schedule, the NTA had to reschedule some tests due to unforeseen circumstances. These rescheduled exams were held today, marking and end to this year's exam session.

Why CUET 2024 has intense competition?

The exam covers many subjects, allowing you to choose the ones relevant to your desired program.

  • It provides flexibility as you no longer have to appear for multiple university entrance exams.
  • The syllabus is mainly based on the class 12th syllabus; thus, it is easier to attend than CAT and JEE exams.
  • The CUET result is accepted by over 260+ participating universities, including central, state, private and deemed-to-be universities.
  • It is a single gateway to more than 100 courses across all 3 streams in these universities, from which you can choose the one you wish to pursue for your higher education.

This year, around 13.48 lakh students registered for the exams, and the major exams saw 80-85% attendance, the highest in three years.

With the exams concluding today, you must focus on the next steps.
