CMAT Paper Total Marks 2024 Highlights:

The National Testing Agency has decided to keep the paper pattern similar to the CMAT Exam 2022 and 2023. Here are some important highlights every candidate must know:

• The CMAT Exam 2024 will comprise of 5 main sections: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. 
• The total number of questions for the exam will be 100, with 20 questions included in each of the five sections.
• The total marks in CMAT exam 2024 will be 400. 
• The maximum number of marks that can be obtained per section is 80
• Negative marking in CMAT exam - There is a negative marking of 01 marks for each incorrect response.
• The exam will be 180 minutes long, i.e. 3 hours. There will be no sectional time limit, enabling you to navigate between sections at your convenience.
• Percentile and rank scores, not raw scores, will be shown for CMAT admission cutoffs.
• The medium of the question paper will be English only.

• Each question in the exam carries four marks.
• Candidates will receive four marks for each correct answer.
• CMAT exam negative marking is -1 for each incorrect response.

• In cases where there are multiple correct options or a change in the answer key after the challenge process, only those candidates who have attempted the question correctly as per the revised answer key will be awarded marks.
