The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced that the application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 will open on 15 July 2024. Students interested in applying have until 15 October 2024 to submit their applications.
The CLAT 2025 exam will be held offline on 1 December 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. For candidates in the PwD category, the exam will run until 4:40 PM.
Students applying for the five-year integrated law degree need to have completed their 12th grade or an equivalent exam with at least 45% marks.
For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 40%. Students who are currently in their final year of high school and will graduate by March or April 2025 can also apply.

Those applying for the one-year LL.M. degree should have an LL.B. degree or its equivalent with at least 50% marks, or 45% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
Students in their final year of law school, graduating by April or May 2025, are also eligible to apply.

The application fee is Rs. 4,000 for both UG and PG programmes. SC, ST, PwD, and BPL candidates will pay a reduced fee of Rs. 3,500.
