Age Limit for Rajasthan Judiciary Eligibility 2025
Go through the following points to know the Rajasthan civil judge age limit 2025:
According to the Rajasthan Judicial Services Eligibility, your minimum age should be 21 years as of 01.01.2024.
However, as of 01.01.2024, the upper age limit is 40, beyond which you cannot apply.
Rajasthan High Court provides age relaxation in the Rajasthan Judiciary Exam if you belong to the SC, ST, OBC, or EWS Category of Rajasthan or are a woman or physically handicapped. However, age relaxation differs depending on your category.

To apply for the Rajasthan Judicial Services Exam, you must hold a Bachelor of Laws (Professional) from any university established by Law in India.
To meet the Rajasthan Judiciary Eligibility Criteria, you must be either enrolled or recognised as an Advocate as per the provisions of the Advocates Act of 1961.
If you appear for the final semester of LLB in 2024, you shall be eligible to apply for the exam. However, acquiring the requisite educational qualification before the Mains examination would be best. You must submit the proof to the Office of Registrar (Examination), Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur, within seven days of holding the mains exam.
RJS Nationality 2025
As per the Rajasthan Judiciary Eligibility Criteria, if you wish to apply for the civil judge post in the Rajasthan High Court, you must hold Indian citizenship.
Note: NRIs or foreign nationals are not eligible to apply for the Rajasthan Civil Judge Exam 2025.
Character Certificate
As per the official notification of the Rajasthan Judicial Exam, you must possess good character and not have any criminal records or cases pending against you to be eligible for the civil judge post in the Rajasthan High Court.
One of the Rajasthan Judiciary eligibility criteria is that you must have a clean record and should not have been engaged in unlawful or anti-social activities.
Also, you should require three-character certificates, i.e., one issued by the dean of your college or the principal or academic officer of the institute in which you last studied. Two other character certificates from the responsible persons not related to you.
Language Eligibility for the Rajasthan Judiciary Exam 2025
You must have a thorough knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari Script, Rajasthani dialects, and the social customs of Rajasthan.
Number of Attempts in RJS Exam 2025
There is no upper limit on the number of attempts for the Rajasthan Judiciary Exam. You can apply for the exam multiple times if you fulfil the eligibility criteria.
Minimum Marks Eligibility for Rajasthan Civil Judge Mains 2025
Following the Rajasthan Civil Judge Exam Pattern, you must score at least 45% marks in the preliminary examination if you belong to the general category to qualify for the main exam.
For the SC/ ST category, the minimum percentage of marks required is 40%.
If you belong to the general category, you must secure 35% marks in each law paper and 40% in aggregate in the Main Examination to qualify for the interview.
You must secure at least 30% marks in each law paper and 35% in aggregate in the Main Examination if you belong to the SC/ST category.
It shall be compulsory to appear in every paper of the written test, as well as before the interview Board for viva voce. A candidate who has failed to appear in any written papers or before the board for viva voce shall not be recommended for appointment.
