MH CET Law exam is conducted to allocate seats to Law Aspirants applying for a seat in the Colleges of Law Studies across Maharashtra. There are a total of 230 Law Colleges in Maharashtra that welcome candidates from all across the country (However, the Domicile students are prioritized in admission).

There is a mix of colleges, including public and private law institutions. However, each is accredited by the BCA (Bar Council of India). A total of 78% of Public institutions, 14% of public/government, and 7% are Public-private.

MH CET Law 2023 Application Form Dates

The conducting body of MH CET, the State CET Cell of Maharashtra, has decided to release the application form in two-tier.

Before proceeding with the registration process, you should satisfy the MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria set by the exam conducting body.

The first tier will be meant for the students looking forward to applying for the 3 years (Hons/General) LLB Courses, while the 2nd tier will accept applications from candidates who are Just 12th level graduates and looking for 5 year-long integrated programs of LLB.

How to Fill MH CET Law Application Form 2023?

So, to begin with, the first thing you have to do is to register yourself for the MH CET law Entrance Exam on the State CET website, and this can be done in the following manner:

  • Find the "Apply online" tab in the listed options on the official website.
  • The "Apply online" tab will redirect you to the option of "Click here for new registration tab," Which you will find in the drop-down Menu.

  • Click on the submit button.
  • You will receive unique Login Credentials on the registered mobile number and E-mail Id.

Filling the MH CET Law 2023 Registration Form

Now With the Credentials which have been sent to you. You are instructed to use them and login into the account exclusively created for you on the website.

This segment will offer you Options like "Apply," "Preview," and "Payment." You have to begin with applying by making some crucial details available for the details as it is mandatory to complete the process.

Name of the candidate  Set off by providing details like your First, Middle, and last name

Marksheet of Graduation  Details of the University, Details of the enlisted subjects, and the aggregate marks scored by the candidates (In %)
Quota and Reservation info Candidates who are from the quota/reservation category are required to provide the CET Cell with this Information as it is the key determiner of Cut off marks. 
Permanent and Correspondent address  Fill both permanent and Correspondent address correctly to receive any important document (in case any paperwork happens)

Upload the Required Documents in the MH CET Law Form 2023

Acceptance of the application will be processed to the next step only if you have shared all the mandatory information and document details in addition to the Scanned copy of the document that has to be attached and shared with the application for verification and validation of the information shared from your side.   • A colored photograph of the candidates with dimensions of 200x230
  • Your Signature is required to be scanned and uploaded below the photograph to make it self attested and it has to be 140x60

MH CET Law 2023 Registration: Editing and Making of payment

While processing the application, the Candidates have to use either Net banking or Debit & Credit card to make the payment because hard cash or DD are not acceptable in any situation so be sure to carry your bank details and your registered mobile number to complete your payments.

You have to make the payment with your debit or credit card or net banking; no other form of cash is accepted.

Avoid refreshing your page once you have entered the OTP to process the payment because it can hinder your payment process.

  • Upon successful submission, you will receive a receipt, and if you don't receive any, it indicates that you are facing issues in the payment gateway.
  • If you are an NRI candidate and a carrier of an International Card, then your amount will be converted into INR, and the conversion cost will be charged to the candidates only.
  •  The number of fees neither be transferred nor refunded, so Students need to ensure their candidature before processing the payment.

Final Submission of Application Form for MH CET Law 2023

Your submission of the application after the payment will be followed by a printable receipt stating the completion of your fee submission, making you eligible to receive the admit card.

But before you submit, you must go through the details you provided in the form to eliminate every minor discrepancy in personal details, Academic details, or the listed exam center of choice.

Once you are done with the final submission, after checking all the details to your satisfaction, Submit the Application and Keep a hard copy of the receipt for future reference.

MH CET Law Application Form 2023: A set of instructions to follow

Here's the set of indispensable instructions which the entrant needs to take to heart so that they don't ruin their application procedure:

  • Each candidate has to apply one single form at a time, and if you have made multiple submissions, then the latest one will be taken into consideration.
  • Be very careful with all the details you are filling up because you won't receive the privilege of correction until the State CET allows you to do so.
  • Examination center choices are one-time things, and changes are not entertained in this selection.
  • Be vigilant in attaching your Reservation Documents, or else you will be considered among the General Candidates.
  • Any discrepancy of incomplete information leads to the direct rejection of the Application, and the Authority will not be liable to answer for the same. 

MH CET Law 2023 Application Form: Parameters of Selection 

The State CET of Maharashtra has a fixed standard that is called to be fulfilled to claim your candidature in the upcoming MH CET Entrance Examination.

For the 3-year LLB General/Hons

  • The applicant must be Indian, or else they have to produce evidence of being NRI.
  • Graduation from any UGC recognized, or State recognized University, irrespective of the stream, is acceptable with a minimum score of 45%. The 5% of additional relaxation in the aggregate score will be given to SC/ST candidates.
  • There's no age CAPl for applicants applying for the non Integrated course. So anyone with a graduation degree is eligible to apply.

For the 5 years of BA LLB, BBA LLB 

  • The bairn must be holding the Citizenship of India. In case they are not residing, then they should be a registered NRI with the Government with their blood residing in India.
  • Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% from the Maharashtra Board of Senior Secondary Education of CBSE/ICSE.
  • SC/ST Candidates are accepted on the 40% grade percentage too.
  • Any candidate who has completed their 12th but is awaiting the declaration of results is eligible to apply. Still, they have to ensure to procure the Provisional mark sheet and certificate at the time of Counselling.

Yes, Correction or change of the information in the MH CET form is possible and could be done in two ways. Before the final submission take a good look at all the sections you have filled to eliminate any issues or edit your choice of exam center and then proceed to submit. Wait for the Correction Windows to open however you can't edit your choice of exam center during correction window.
The candidates who don't have a domicile are not required to apply for the MH CET Law examination instead they have to attend the CAPs round.  Only whose schedule they will receive Post declaration of MH CET results.
No. The mode of applying for the MH CET examination is online only so you cannot process the application in offline mode.
If you are the one looking for the integrated program then you have to apply right after your 12th and the candidates looking for the 3 years LLB degree don't need to bother about the age, as there's none and they are free to apply whenever it deems fit to them. 
Yes, the certificate issued by the block or PWD is necessary for every candidate who is claiming to be from OBC, OSC, SC/ST as well as handicapped students. Without these verified documents their application will be categorized in the General applicants only.
