MAT Exam Registration

To register for the MAT exam, you can follow these general steps. 

  1. Visit the Official AIMA-MAT Website: Go to the AIMA MAT official website (https://www.aima.in).

  2. Create an Account: If you are a new user, you will need to create an account. Click on the registration link and fill in the required details to create your login credentials.

  3. Fill the Application Form: Log in with your newly created credentials and complete the application form. You will need to provide personal details, educational qualifications, and other relevant information.

  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned on the website.

  5. Choose Test Mode and Test Cities: Select whether you want to take the test in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode or the Paper-Based Test (PBT) mode. You will also need to select your preferred test cities.

  6. Select Management Institutes: Choose the management institutes where you want to send your MAT score. You can select up to five institutes without any additional cost.

  7. Make Payment: Pay the registration fee through the available online payment modes such as credit card, debit card, net banking, or wallet.

  8. Review and Submit: Review all the details you have entered in the application form for accuracy. Once you are sure that all the information is correct, submit the form.

  9. Acknowledge Receipt: After submitting the form, you will receive an acknowledgment to your registered email address. Keep this acknowledgment safe for future reference.

The fee for the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) exam is as follows:

  • For one MAT exam in any mode (CBT, IBT, or PBT), the fee is Rs.2100/-
  • For two MAT exams in any mode, the fee is Rs.3300/-

The payment for the MAT exam fee can be made online through Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card), Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm wallet.

Please note that the last date to pay the MAT exam fee is the same as the last date to apply for the respective mode of the MAT exam.

MAT Exam Schedule fees – Scheduling Process

The MAT exam schedule fees and scheduling process are as follows:

  • The initial registration fee for the MAT exam is INR 2,100 for a single attempt.
  • Candidates can register for the MAT exam online through the official website of MAT.
  • Candidates can choose their preferred test date and test center during the registration process.
  • The last day to schedule an exam is 10 days prior to the exam day.
  • Candidates can reschedule their exam date and/or test center for a fee of INR 1,100.
  • Candidates can cancel their exam registration and receive a refund of INR 1,000 if they cancel more than 15 days before the exam date.
  • Candidates who cancel their exam registration less than 15 days before the exam date will not receive a refund.
  • Candidates who do not show up for their scheduled exam will not receive a refund.
  • Candidates can avail of the Fee Assistance Program if they have extreme financial limitations.
  • The Fee Assistance Program provides benefits such as discounted fees and free MCAT Official Prep products.
  • Candidates must receive final approval for the Fee Assistance Program before selecting their test date and location.

MAT Exam Retake Fees – Retake process

The MAT exam retake fees and process are as follows:

  • Candidates can retake the MAT exam after a gap of 30 days from the date of their previous attempt.
  • The retake fees for the MAT exam is INR 1,650.
  • Candidates can register for the retake exam through the official website of MAT.
  • Candidates will have to fill in the application form and pay the retake fees to register for the exam.
  • Candidates can choose the test center and date for their retake exam during the registration process.
  • Candidates will receive their admit card for the retake exam through email.
  • Candidates will have to carry their admit card and a valid photo ID to the test center on the day of the exam.
