On 9 March 2023, the Karnataka High Court released the official notification for Karnataka Civil Judge Exam. The Karnataka Judiciary Exam's application process is entirely online.

You must pay separate application fees for Prelims and Mains. Candidates qualifying for the prelims exam will be asked to pay the fee separately for the Mains exam after the results of the Prelims exam are declared.

How to Fill Karnataka Judiciary Application Form?

This year, 57 Karnataka Judiciary Vacancy has been released for Karnataka High Court. There are three stages included in the Karnataka Judiciary Application Process as explained below.

Go through the detailed step-by-step instructions to complete the Karnataka Judiciary Application Process. 

Registration/Filling the Application Form

  • Visit the official website of Karnataka High Court,i.e., karnatakajudiciary.kar.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the Notifications tab.
  • In the drop-down menu, select Recruitment.
  • A list of Recruitment appeared on the new page.
  • Click on the link "No. HCRB/CJR-1/2023" for direct recruitment of 57 Posts of Civil Judges.
  • Click on the link "To Apply Online Application - Click Here".
  • On the new page, click on the "Online Application" Button.
  • Next, click on the OK button. In the next screen, read all the instructions and check to proceed further by clicking (√) on acceptance.
  • Now, select Civil Judge in the drop-down.
  • Enter all the personal details correctly, i.e., your name, father's name, gender, date of birth, category, marital status, citizenship, contact information, annual income, permanent address, mobile number, and email ID.
  • Next, complete the enrolment information by entering all the right details. 
  • Further, enter your Law Graduation information and practice information.

Uploading of Documents

  • Upload a passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format.
  • Upload the latest passport-size photograph with white background having (5 cm of length X 3.6 cm of breadth with a maximum size of 50 kb) in *.jpg format
  • Select Passport Size Photo from the Dropdown list.
  • Click on “Choose File” to select the file.
  • Click on the Upload button to upload the Photograph.
  • For signature, scan and upload their signature, signed in black ink on white paper (2.5 cm in length X 7.5 cm of breadth with a maximum size of 25 kb) in jpg format.
  • Select “Applicant Signature” from the Dropdown list.
  • Click on “Choose File” to select the file.
  • Click on the Upload button to upload the Signature
  • Check the box after uploading the documents and submit the form.

Payment of Karnataka Judiciary Application Fees 2023

  • After submitting the form, the Application Number will be generated.
  • Take a printout of the form and make the payment 
  • Read the detailed instructions before proceeding with the payment of the fee. 
  • Make the payment either through online mode or offline mode.
  • The application fee must be paid twice. The first payment is made for prelims, while the second is made after qualifying for the exam.
  • After releasing the prelim results, you will be given 15 days to pay the mains exam fee. Check the amount to be paid and complete the payment accordingly.
  • If you are paying online mode, then you complete the payment of the application fee by using the SBI online payment gateway.
  • If you are making the payment offline, you must download the challan from the SBI online Payment gateway and remit the fee to any branch of SBI.

  • Under this tab, enter your application number and captcha code. 
  • Click on the "GO" button to proceed further with making payment.
  • Applicants shall click and agree to the terms and conditions of SBI Bank collect and click the “Proceed” button as shown below.
  • Next, you will be directed to the new page “REGISTRAR GENERAL, HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA” SBI Collect page. Select Payment Category as “ONLINE RECRUITMENT”.
  • After clicking, you will be asked to fill in details like your name, application number, retype the application number, enter the correct date of birth, select the correct fee, mobile number, and captcha. 
  • Click on the Confirm button.
  • Upon clicking the confirm button, a screen showing the list of payment methods will be displayed. 
  • Select the most convenient method of payment to pay the fee.
  • Follow the procedure as the bank prescribes to make payment through Net Banking and Card Payment.

Offline Mode of Fee Payment

  • Upon clicking the confirm button, a screen showing the list of payment methods will be displayed. 
  • If you have selected an offline method, i.e., challan payment, then for downloading the State Bank Collect challan form, click the “SBI Branch” option under the “Other Payment Mode” label. 
  • Click on the PDF link “Click here to save the Pre-Acknowledgement form in PDF” to download the Challan form
  • Applicants shall pay the application fee in any of the SBI branches, secure the Depositor Copy of the Challan, and display the same to the authority without fail.

After the payment, click on the “Pay-Confirmation” button to proceed with payment is a success or failure. Applicants shall enter the DU Reference number of SBI payment with the date of birth or Mobile no. and Confirm whether the payment was paid to the Registrar General, HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA, Bengaluru.
